rOtring Triangular Reduction Scale Architect, T1

Typical rotring ruler, string sturdy and accurate.

I'm yet to embrace CAD technology and still draw up kitchen plans on my drawing board.These are fine, however in time the ink wears off the measure.Why don't Rotring don't address this problem?I end up throwing away a perfectly good rule away as I can't read it..If only I could find a better rule.

My son is starting a mechanical engineering degree in October and this was a great birthday 'stocking filler'. As expected from Rotring it is a quality product and I know my son will be able to use it for many years, both at uni and hopefully in his career.

I have always used this make of ruler for my job. They are much clearer than other brands also the scales that come with it are really useful for house plans.
