Fantaseal Mini Octopus Tripod is a very unique tripod with 3 flexible legs and a 360 degree rotation ball-head. The ball-head comes with a gopro mount and standard 1/4" screw which works on most cameras and DSLRs. The package includes Fantaseal mini octopus tripod and a cleaning cloth. There is also a quick-release mechanism on the ball head for faster removal/installation of camera.The legs are pretty solid and different to regular octopus tripod which consists of "balls". On Fantaseal Mini Octopus Tripod, I believe the leg is consists of a flexible centerpiece which probably made of strong rubbers and a friction cover on the centerpiece to improve traction to the surface. It actually works pretty well and hold onto most surface I tried.Do note that although the whole tripod is 8". The leg part is shorter so you'll have less length to clamp on bigger objects. Also it might have hard time holding larger DSLR like 5D mark II with a long lens. I tried it with my T1i and m 50mm lens and it already has a hard time. However, my YI camera works great on it and also most of my point and shoot cameras.

I really purchased this to work with my existing GoPro and Fly360 cameras, as they really allow for extreme camera shots, but found that it work also work with any other camera. While my photos show what comes out of the packaging, and an initial setup, I did not include any with the rubberized legs which seem just the right length to wrap around any material. I found the legs to be very flexible, and the rubber able to grip even items that were damp from morning dew, or underwater applications.Overall, a great value for the money. Shipping was immediate, packaging more than adequate. You'll feel you got your money's worth from this purchase.

I use this product everytime I record a drawing video. The legs are sturdy and hold my camera very well. I also love the fact that it stays up well in any area you wrap the legs on. The grips are rubber and do move around a bit, but that’s not a big problem. The problem is the movement of the legs. For someone with bad arthritis, like myself, it gets a bit difficult to move the legs. Which is a shame, because I really enjoy this product. I sometimes have to ask someone to move the legs for me in order to properly position my camera.

I was using this with my Tamron 200-500 mm lens and it was working like a charm, for about one week. It broke right above the ball head, tried to superglue it but it broke again right away. I would say for the price it is an ok product and if you use it with a GoPro, phone(adapter does not come with it, but any phone tripod adapter should work!) or DSLR with a lighter lens it should last you much longer. I like the legs very much, they held up the considerable weight of my lens well. There is not a whole lot of flexibility with the ball head, it only has one slot where you can turn it sideways, and otherwise has limited motion.I liked this tripod for travel and convenience but won't buy it again. I will try a different one and see if it lasts me a bit longer.

I initially thought this would have segmented flexible legs, but the "segments" are just rubber decorations around the stiff, bendable wire core of the legs. This isn't really so much of an issue as just a moderate disappointment from my expectations.The bigger issue I had with this tripod was the actual screw mount to connect to the camera. The screw was VERY poorly finished. The threads were very rough and oversized and would not fit into my threaded socket at all. I ended up having to re-chase the threads with a 1/4-20 thread-die to get it to thread smoothly into a standard threaded socket. And then it was too long to fit snugly. It bottomed out in my camera socket before tightening up on the adapter plate, so it was very loose and could easily swivel on the adapter plate. I was able to get around that by adding a flat washer to take up the extra space.Overall, it's not a bad little tripod. Just be aware it may require some additional work to get it to be functional.

This thing has come in handy way more than expected. Initially got for a go pro to connect to a kayak paddle to get closer to the action and it worked perfect. Super tight and grippy legs. Have since used it for a number of times for phone photos at home and in the office. Very versatile, portable, and easy to use.

I really want to give it five stars, but can't. The idea and concept of this is fantastic however the unit that I received didn't make it 15 minutes. I intended to use it for an underwater tripod for a GoPro. It seemed perfect. With nothing that would be damaged by water, this looked like the ideal product for my application. What I learned was that within 15 minutes of taking it out of the package and having it in the water all three legs fell off. They didn't pop off, they didn't break off, they simply fell off of the base. That left me with 3 now disconnected legs and a GoPro that was securely mounted to what was once the base. Maybe my experience is an outlier, but in the instance that it's not I felt I should provide this cautionary word for other prospective buyers.

Love it was definitely worth the buy I've had it for a while now like I think it's been over maybe three years since I've had it still keeping sturdy good quality very bendy in a good way of course I would definitely recommend this to anybody that's looking for a good quality tripod for their camera that you can also put somewhere so if I were you need not look further this is the tripod for you

I really like this tripod. The legs are strong and able to support the weight of my camera. The tripod is small and compact in size, but I find that it works perfectly for every day tasks. Its small size makes it convenient to carry and store in a bag.The flexibility of the legs makes this tripod superior to its competitors, I am able to bend the legs in different positions: I can wrap it around a bar (see last pic), bend the legs to be lower (see pic 6), I can do just about anything I chose.Also the tripod has good grip at the bottom and on the legs, ensure that however you chose to set this tripod up, it is sure be non-slip and well gripped to the surface. The ball point allows me to manipulate the positioning of the camera 360 degrees, and at different angles. It can be loosen and tighten using the knob.This can be used for both cameras and go pros (see pic 3), the attachments are screwed together, unscrew the gopro attachment to use the camera attachment.OVERALL✔ Overall this tripod provides the flexibility to manipulate the positioning of the camera in various ways, ensuring that you get the perfect shot every time.✔ The legs are strong, stable and able to support the weight of the camera well.✔ It has good grip at the bottom and at the sides of the legs, ensure that the tripod and camera stay secure and well gripped to it’s surface.✔ This tripod is excellent for everyday use, its compact and lightweight build makes it perfect for traveling and carrying with ease.👍 I would recommend this to anyone looking for a light and compact, yet reliable and effective tripod for everyday use.

I am glad I had waited to get hold of one of these for my GOPRO. I was looking at the Original Gorilla POD, however that is not exactly cheap. I ordered the 8" version of this Mini Tripod and it comes in a very high quality package not too far from Original GOPRO quality. In the package is obviously your Mini Tripod, with its Black and White Legs, which look rather cool. Also there is a cleaning cloth for anything you need it for as well as a camera mount adaptor for the GOPRO. I brought one of those 2 years ago and paid not far of for that for what I did for this Mini Tripod.Once it all is out of the package you can actually see how well this is built. The legs are nice and stiff, which I believe is a good advantage, as too easy to bend and it may not hold on as needed. Further up the Tripod is a ball socket to allow you to alter the angle of the camera mount platform and then you have the camera mount platform itself. Just underneath the mount platform is a small screw which allows you to take the mounting plate out. All of this again is of a high standard. The GOPRO mount then just screws onto the top and away you go. I was unable to take this outside and take photos of it gripping onto stuff due to the poor weather, but I will endeavour to get some done and uploaded so you can see it in action properly.If there was a problem with this mount, all i would say is that it would be nice to have a spirit level on the mounting plate to ensure GOPRO is level, but apart from that this is a fantastic part of kit. This is the second piece of equipment I have purchased made by Fantaseal and was impressed with the quality of that as well. No doubt I will purchase more of there products as they are required by myself.If you need one of these then definetly buy this. You will not be disappointed.If this review was helpful please like.

Un vrai trépied de poche, qui s'emmène et qui se fixe partout.J'ai été agréablement surpris par la qualité de l'article.A l'aide de ça petite rotule ball elle permet pas mal de possibilités de prise de vue.il est fourni avec un support avec un pas de vis standard se qui permet d'y fixer un support smartphone (photo) mais aussi un petit appareil photo de type compact et autres, mais aussi d'un support gropro très pratique.Les bras se tordent dans tous les sens et grâce à son revêtement en caoutchouc anti dérapant il tient bien en place.Bien vu la petite micro fibre pour nettoyer la lentille de l'appareil ;)je vous laisse regarder les photos pour mieux comprendre les possibilités du trépied.

Love this little guy. It so cute and fit perfect in my hand. I'm using it with my Cannon EOS M3 and it feels nice and sturdy. It also works great with my Iphone 7 tripod adapter. Great value.
