Excellent read. This is an instruction manual for longevity. Complicated information clearly written chapter by chapter with no nonsense bloviating and word salad filler. Text is easy to read and many points are referenced for those wanting a deeper dive. I am already following much of what Dr. Dunning lays out. This book is a treasure and I have just ordered his second book Neogenisis.

Great book for those interested in the unorthodox
This book covers it all whilst keeping the essence of Filinov's work intact... I always refer back to this when dry fasting to ensure I'm on track/feeling things that are normal. Truly beneficial to be done however mentally taxing at the same time.Have seen health benefits from doing 3 days dry a couple of time which give me reassurance that this is the way forward for healing and curing more serious illnesses. Practice makes perfect and is a really good addition to ones lifestyle if you already do OMAD and/or KetoPrepare for odd looks from colleagues and family members when you discuss this however - "3 days without food and water you will die"

Great book, helped a lot.
This book finally got me to practice dry fasting, and my body, even after 4 days is functioning way better than before and had many bowel movements... was amazed at how much things came out of me. 50% of my back pain went away. Somethings I don't agree with like breaking the fast with bone broth and non-vegan options because we as humans are frugivores by nature and I have always broke my fast with fruit or baby food (which is mostly fruit) and our bodies after a fast need the most gentle foods. This time I decided to find a middle way and broke it with fresh coconut water then had fruit later in the day and only included veggies and heavier foods after 3 - 4 days.

Fasting saved my life, my health, my sanity
I wish I had discovered this dry fasting book before I tried a 36 day water fast back in late 2019. I would’ve dry faster instead with far greater long lasting results. Dry fasting just plain works and this book not only gives the directions on how exactly to do the Phoenix Protocol 7 day variant but also gives the scientific information and basis for how it all works to heal your body from the NASA engineer who designed this to help astronauts deal with cosmic radiation damage. It’s a short read barely 140 pages and worth every penny. Get it, read it, try it even for 1-3 days and you’ll see it’ll activate something incredible that’s been dormant in you your entire life. We used to hunt wooly mammoths and fight saber tooth tigers. All that cellular machinery and DNA is still there. Dry fasting activates it. I also highly recommend August Dunning’s YouTube channel his videos are mainly very short but very useful.
