Trading Wisdom: 50 lessons every trader should know (Trading Wisdom Series)

I appreciate Cheds for sharing the lessons he’s learned over his trading career. Anyone interested in trading should seriously consider reading this book before placing one trade.

Lots of good snippets of wisdom. Cheds gives advice form lessons he learned in his trading experience. Not a textbook or trading manual.

I consider myself to be a trader of moderate experience. I make more with it very part-time than many people do with full-time jobs. I also my business school degree in finance (over 30 years ago!). I say this for perspective on where I'm coming from.I've probably read a few hundred books about the markets and have taken many courses since my college days. What Cheds did here wasn't so much about the technical aspects of trading but about the emotional and psychological aspects of trading. These are 2 areas I've not seen well covered in any other books or programs.Although I did know, at least on some level, most of what Cheds wrote, he gave confirmation of what I believed to be true. That is always helpful. But he also helped me identify some issues I have that are preventing me from succeeding at the level I could be. Just one takeaway resulted in me making a change that resulted in a $1200 increase in profits in one day!I highly recommend this book for traders of all experience levels. For beginners, some of it may challenging to understand if you're weak on terminology but the lessons you can apply right away will help you stay in the game longer than you would have otherwise. For more experienced traders, it can help you do a self-assessment to see areas you can approve upon (provided you're honest!).

A great book with detailed explanations on how to navigate the markets. I feel more confident now reading charts and noticing signals.

It's a good read, but I don't think it's worth 30+ dollars.

My first entry into crypto was a disaster. Fell for the social media hype to buy in now. Didn't even think of doing research. The FOMO was to great. Huge mistake. I needed help and so I purchased this book. Most of the mistakes a newbie can make will be answered. Research, walk away, don't fall for hype, sell and move on, and so much more. It's all in this book and its a easy read. I now keep this book next to my computer. Anytime I now get the FOMO, I look at this book, and remind myself thankfully, of the lessons I have learned.

This book was a pretty easy read with worthwhile information to help you have the right mindset about trading. The psychology of trading is focused on in a lot of the book, which is a very important aspect of being successful at it. I found those lessons to be useful and helpful with freeing myself to think more logically about my trades and less emotionally. I definitely recommend it as maybe a starting point in getting the right mindset about trading. Education should definitely be continued after this book into more technical details, but these are great lessons we all need.

I'm shocked to be honest, I follow bigcheds on twitter and find his youtube vids to be useful. However this book is amazingly thin, short and does not go into detail into helping someone in understanding how to apply any of the lessons and very few examples to see what is said in practice. The crypto trader by glen goodman cost me far less and taught me a hell of a lot more. Most useful book so far I've read has been charting and technical analysis fred mcallen, this 50 lessons book comes no where near and costs more than double! Majorly dissapointed in bigcheds

Firstly this book is genius and not what you may think it is.It will open your eyes to how trading works and how you work and teach you how to change to winning tactics.Cheds is not just a great writer and trader he has faced battles you and I would never want to face and come out stronger that ever, he’s a genuinely nice person who wants to help you make better decisions in trading.It’s about a better way of behaving and understanding the cyclia way the trading world goes.It’s about making the planned choices and knowing when to trust your instinct, the book hopes to instal into these traits into you and believe me everyone needs this.Cheds teaches you by years of making errors and learning from them, just like when parents know the lessons to teach their children even if they don’t agree straight away they will and this is what the book taught me, listen to the words and wisdom of someone who has been through the darkest times and learned to beat them.Thanks Cheds

I got through this book in an evening of reading. The 50 lessons in the book come from a place of real wisdom and the practical advice is invaluable for all traders old and new. As a relatively new trader it has got me focused to learn more about the technical indicators mentioned and also to not repeat the mistakes that Cheds made (although admittedly I had already made some of them!) I have recommended this book to my friends who trade and think it is a great little addition to your bookshelf and something that can easily be referred to again and again. Thank you Cheds!

This book should be essential reading for every trader. I've made many of the mistakes outlined in this book over the past four years, so I appreciate how common they are. This book will teach you, not only how to avoid them altogether, it also teaches you how to deal with your mistakes. A very easy read, in a pick me up, put me down style format. Great book! I was sceptical about a book that looks so spiritual on the first sight, but honestly this is one of the best aggregation of knowledge about trading! Easy to understand, with truly useful stuff! Can't recommend enough!Also there is an ongoing video series on YouTube from the author himself where he reads the book for free and expands what's in the book. Truly amazing writer!
