I'll be honest, I only used it for the stop watch function so far and it works fine. I don't really need the super accurate 1000th of a second measurement, but out of all the illuminated stopwatches on Amazon this one seemed the best bang for the buck ($29.99 August 24 2022) with other included functions besides the stopwatch. I need the illuminated screen as I sometimes use it in dark, and if I go to the drag strip at night, I can get the times when they don't display them on the board down the track.As my review title says, it is lit on the side by an orange LED not to be confused by actually lit from the back as with modern watches like Timex Indiglo or Casio Illuminator. The screen illumination is basically an ancient design from the 80s lit from the side, but now has a modern LED on the right side of the screen. Not really a big deal but it makes this screen look a bit outdated and actual photo of the back light is not accurate.If you are not using the stopwatch or other function, and you have the time and date shown, the display will shut off after a while and you need to push a button to show the time and date again. I have not tested it in the water as I don't want to take a chance of it breaking and don't want to waste time setting up a return with Amazon. I don't need the water resistance so will not push my luck by dunking it in the water. I've read a review that someone mentioned it being big. I disagree, I think it's fine maybe could be a little bigger. Overall a good product.

Update: The scratches I thought were made easily, was the film protecting the screen. Took that off and the watch screen has not scratched at all. Amazing product!!!Love the watch. It does everything that I need as a coach to take splits and times The only thing that I was unhappy with was the fact that on the first day I used it, I was wearing gloves and wiped what I thought was a smudge; next thing I know, the watch was scratched. So now it looks foggy because the screen was so sensitive that a glove left a scratch. Other than that, great watch! love the light since track meets run pretty late.

The stop watch is fitting to the palm. The controls are all accessible in one hand. It get a bit too complicated in the 100 lap settings. The alarm is good but not loud enough to hear. Will see about battery life expectation.

The print in the instructions is too small for me to read even with prescription glasses.

Worth of moneyPerfect replacement for my other stop watches!！! I was surprised by how well this product performed.I needed a quality stopwatch w a backlight and recall functions, i found it in this.It's reliable More functions than i need. It took a few minutes to really get the setting, but overall it is pretty high end.Highly recommended.

I love this watch already and I don't officially used it yet but I have tested out all it's features and they are good. Very easy to recall. I can catch my interval times and day rest in between.
