The Art of Listening: A Guide to the Early Teachings of Buddhism Paperback – June 15, 2021

I simply loved this book. It is one of most nuanced and insightful explorations of the Pali canon, and of Buddhist literature in general, I have ever read. The author unpacks and unlocks one of the main collections of teachings of the Buddha and brings the reader on a literary tour de force. I cannot more strongly recommend this to anyone who practices Buddhism of any tradition.Also, the writing is phenomenal.

Having read a foolish amount of dharma books over the years I can honestly recommend this as a wise guide to both the early suttas and actually the whole of the Buddhist path. Thank you Sarah a fine contribution to the literature.
