Fuyit Natural Wood Slices, 30 Pcs 3.1-3.5 Inch Unfinished Predrilled Wooden Circles Tree Slice with Hole for DIY Arts Craft Christmas Ornaments

I originally ordered five 30Ct packages (150 total) of these natural wood slices to use as wedding favors for my daughter's December wedding. I also order personalized 2 inch stickers to place on each slice. The wood slices ere not uniform in size but most of them were still large enough to accommodate the 2 inch stickers . The placement of the predrilled hole also determined if I could successfully place the stickers, and still be able to run the natural jute twine rope ( included) through the hole so they could be hung as ornaments on Christmas trees for our wedding guests. Some of the holes were drilled a bit closer to the center of the wood, which necessitated me to stick the sticker over the rope ( see the picture of the smaller wood slice). But overall, most slices accommodated the stickers and will make beautiful wedding favors. Only three of the wood slices were defective ( see photo). One was cracked, and the other two had the bark coming off of the edges. However, considering that this only occurred on 3 out of 150 wood slices, it was a very low percentage of defective items. I would urge anyone to be sure and order slightly more than is needed just in case. Don't order the exact amount need, due to possible imperfections. The actual wood is beautiful and smooth. I would definitely purchase again. I ended up placing each slice in an organza gift bag along with 2 mints to be given to each wedding guest.

Loved the wood slices. I used them for ornaments in my shop. Only one cracked. It was a huge bonus that they come with pre-drilled holes and twine to hand them with.The only improvement I could ask for would be the twine being precut into equal lengths.Excellent product. Will purchase again.

These wood slices are absolutely perfect for making ornaments! I have an upcoming craft fair that I will be bringing these to so I was very happy to see they arrived on time and in good condition. I did have two broken ones, as others have mentioned, but with such soft wood and such a long way to ship, it's kind of hard to prevent. Overall, I would happily order these again and I would recommend them to anyone making ornaments for the holidays!

I've ordered these and one other option, and although the other option was a bit cheaper the wood was much thinner. I'll only order these for now on!

I bought these for my school's Who's Who beauty pageant to use as favors. They were exactly what I wanted and great quality. I had a local printing company make small decals of the school's logo to stick to the front of the wood slice. I also made tags to tie on that had the event information and award.

I got these for name tags for outdoor school. They wanted something that the kids wear in the dining hall when they are the johnny jump up. The bark sheds a little but it is not too bad. I used oracal 651 on them and it stuck fine. I did use several coats of mod podge to prevent the vinyl from lifting just in case as kids will be wearing them and I did not want it picked off. They turned out really nice and the teacher LOVED them.

I ordered these to make Christmas ornaments with my new Cricut. I didn't read through the product description, just saw the price and added to cart so I was pleasantly surprised when these babies arrived with not only twine but also some adorable white and red yarn to hang them with. I made several different types of ornaments with them and all turned out exactly like I had hoped... perhaps even better than expected! For some of them I painted them with black matte acrylic paint. The paint went on perfectly and only one coat was needed. I also painted some white, and again only one coat was needed. On both the black and white I added vinyl and it stuck like it was any other solid surface with no additional steps. I also applied vinyl to the raw wood without doing anything extra to it and again, it stuck with zero issues. I highly recommend these to anyone looking to make a banner or ornaments, as they are an amazing value and excellent quality! I will definitely be buying more of these in the future.

I'm using these to create sun catchers with inspiring messages for my home city Paradise CA where the Camp Fire caused by PG&E on November 8th, 2018 destroyed 95 percent of our homes, businesses, parks, local historic landmarks, our surrounding nature, neighboring communities, and contaminated our local irrigation and household water, caused 86 tragic and horrifying deaths, destroyed the local economy, inflatedand congested our neighbor city of Chico, blew up an already tight housing market causing thousands more people in our county, Butte County, to become homeless, blew local professionals and doctors/surgeons out of our reach and killed our dreams, goals, plans of retirement etc. These are nice, take acrylic paint and paint pens and paint with enough absorbency to maintain the vividness of color. Also metallic markers, sharpies, etc. Modge podge was absorbed well and dried quickly. Came with jute ties and pre-drilled holes. Drilling additional holes in bottom was clean and easy.

Lovely pack of wood slices. I've ordered 3 of these now and not had any issues with them (like bark falling off around the edges or split wood). I used them to make wood burned Christmas decorations, as seen in the picture.

I'm very unhappy with this product, if I could give it zero stars I would. I bought these wood-slices solely to make pyrography (woodburnt) and painted decorations. Unfortunately only 3 were usable due to sloppy placement of the pre-drilled holes rendering the product useless. When I say sloppily drilled, I mean the drilled holes were placed barely above the middle (centre) of the wood-slice and they were also off centre. As a result I couldn't use them unless I wanted a massive hole in the middle of my design. It also meant they couldn't be hung up as intended without the twine obscuring the design I intended to burn/paint on the wood. I bought fabulous pre-drilled wood-slices on Amazon in the past from another company who unfortunately no longer ship to Ireland, so I'm comparing this item to a similar product which was great, with properly drilled holes near the top edge of the wood-slice and not drilled off-centre half way down the woodslice. This product was a massive disappointment. Keep your money and avoid this product at all costs.

Used these for gift tags/ Christmas tree decorations, with an initial on. Very popular and admired by all who saw them. With the hole already drilled, it saved a lot of time. I painted some and left others natural.

Good wood slices for the price. Pre cut as well which takes a lot of the hassle away. Mixed sizes as well which was handy. I've put black paint on some of mine to make little Xmas tree decorations 😁

Just started pyrography and looked at these for various projects. This is a Christmas Tree decoration - pleased with the effect so happy with this product.
