For the price this is great. Seems a bit thin but we shall see over the summer

Put the first one on and I'll have to throw it away as it burst in several places first time as there was plenty of leaks .I laid it out and one of the sides completely split open. So I tried the second one five and a half hours later I have had to just throw them in the trash. The vinyl is so flimsy no matter how many tightening rings you use it is not going to fit correctly on your backwash pipe.both definitely leak and spew water everywhere. I think they have been packaged and stored somewhere far too long and probably in heat but what a complete waste of money they are ,and yes I have dealt with pools for quite a while so it's definitely not operator error

A little thinner than expected but got the job done

I’ll start by saying that the product info says this is “reinforced PVC“, but it’s clear from the photos that this is not of a fiber mesh reinforced hose. So I bought it knowing this, for a non-pressure application.Our house is under construction and the downspouts have yet to be installed, so these, paired with some hose clamps (or if you’re cheap, just some really good duct tape) allowed me to create downspouts from our gutters down to the drain pipes on our property. I made 10 of them they are holding up fine through heavy rains. Again, that’s a trickle compared to a pressure application like a backwash pump.This is not a typical mesh-reinforced flat hose so I doubt it would hold up to very much handling or abuse but for the purpose we purchased them for they are excellent.

I bought these to replace the rubber ones thinking it would last longer. NOPE. In less than a year it started to spring leaks. You cannot roll it up like the rubber ones and it looks like a mess when you try. Not worth the money or headache.

I used the hose to empty my pool they did the job they were cheap but they had dozens of hole in the plastic right out of ten box. Water was shooting every getting everything wet. They are a single use not very durable poorly made.

I use it to drain water that accumulates after heavy amounts of rain. Works well, but the far output end has to be held down in place, or it tends to flop around and then possibly kink off, then splits

Works for my needs.
