Hits far above its price range
I've had many, more expensive, audio interfaces that either broke within the first six months or just sounded awful from day one. This one provides a crisp sound with no buzzing and has continued to do so for over a year now. I would definitely recommend this for a home setup.

Scam
This product is designed to look like Scarlett products on purpose. THIS IS NOT A FOCUSRITE. It does not integrate with ASIO drivers and cannot be used as an official audio interface. This scam of a product can be purchased on Temu for $20

Took some time, but worth it
Yes, if you have any type of interface for recording you are going to recognize this as being almost like another brand. But let's talk about installation. Some of you will have no problem using this as a plug and play. Others will need to take steps to properly connect to your device. For some, you may want to hook it to your laptop or desktop before turning the computer on, that way the install wizard will automatically recognize a new device and install it. Also, depending on what DAW you are using, you want to make sure to go into your preferences and make sure that this interface is listed. It will be listed as USB Audio Interface. If you are in fact trying this out on your home studio then chances are you already have the ASIO4ALL already installed. If not, you need to look for it on the net and install it. Now I'm not sure what happened during my hookup, but I in fact had to restart my computer twice before everything in my system recognized and assigned the new device. Once that took place, I could use this interface and my original interface back and forth without having to do any re-assigning within the DAW software. I do like the fact that this USB did have the newer USB-C connection with a USB adapter in case you were still using your standard USB cord to connect. As with all new hardware devices, be patient, troubleshoot by going into your computers audio mixer and testing out your new device to insure that it is working properly. In your DAW you may have to also look under TOOLS for the preference tab or under HELP and then tab down to Preferences, then Audio Devices. Once hooked up, it was really hard for me to tell the difference between my two interfaces as far as sound quality. I haven't put it through it's paces just yet, but if anything out of the ordinary occurs, I will update this review. So far in my opinion this interface is solid construction and will hopefully produce recordings and music just as good of quality as some of it's higher priced competitors. Best of luck to all. Thank you.

Not what I thought it was but still pleased š
When I got this I thought it was a scarlet 2i2 mixer. Well I was wrong lol I got a shure sm7b the sound cloud but I was pleased with this 2i2 even if I thought it was something else lol. This seems to be very good for the price but it has no software with is a bummer but you can always adjust manually so its great for the price š

Works well once you understand how it fits into your system
The USB Audio Interface obtained from Amazon works well from what we were able to test. Both inputs are dual purposed so they can either take a 1/4ā plug which can connect to an unpowered guitar, bass, or microphone, or can take an XLR input which can accommodate a dynamic microphone (no phantom power) or condenser microphone (with the interface supplying the 48v phantom power). Your USB input will need to have adequate power accommodate the 48v phantom power, and itās best to operate on the first USB hub (or directly to your computer). In a USB hub daisy chain arrangement, I was not able to get this to work on my second USB hub, and I suspect that might be so elsewhere.Connecting to a Windows or Mac PC had a minor hiccup, but after I understood what worked, was straight-forward. The issue I ran across was an issue of mine where I have a couple of USB hubs daisy chained. As long as the USB connection is adequately powered, AND it is connected directly to a USB port on your computer OR the first USB hub thatās connected to it, it should work. For me, it would not recognize on a daisy chain setup that I had. Once that was found to be needed, both Windows and Mac systems recognized the device without issue. And you do this, remember that not all digital audio workstations will recognize a device change, so Iād recommend first getting your audio interface plugged in and recognized through your device manager before you start up your DAW software so it can scan for whatās currently connected and can present you it, along with other inputs you might already have.Sound levels were easily adjustable with the built-in gain controls for each input. Outputs to the computer sounded good and undistorted. All in all, this seems to be a solid unit.

Good enough, but not cheap enough to compete with brand name
As other reviewers have mentioned, this looks very much like a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface. However, it lacks all the software that comes with the brand name, and is not priced significantly cheaper (at least compared to the Focusrite Solo model, which retails for about $129). I don't think it's priced at a level to be competitive and convince buyers to switch to a generic version of the market leader. I'll only recommend this if you're experienced enough to know how to deal with driver/software setup issues, and if you can't live with a single input and definitely need two inputs recording at the same time.
