marathon training
I'll be honest, I hated these shorts at first. I wore them once then they sat in a drawer for a couple months until just recently.why did I hate them? the waist went up to my boobs. seriously. I tried to put them lower and it just didn't work and when I ran, they rolled over (I have rolls, so why not have rolls in my pants, too!)So, I washed them, forgot about them, and decided to try them again recently. Now, for some reason I LOVE them. maybe they shrank a little in the dryer? I don't know but whatever happened, the waist doesn't go quite as high anymore and I find them essential to my long runs.I ran 20 miles yesterday and they stayed in place and were very comfortable. I love that they're longer on the bottom cuz I'm not one of those small runners... I'm slightly overweight and seem to get thigh chafing easily. I will surely be wearing these for my marathon.

Fits great, looks good, works.
I’m just getting into wearing compression and Zensah is my favorite brand I’ve tried. It’s a stretch knit rather than a shiny spandex fabric. I can’t rate it in comparison to other high end brands because I don’t want to wear shiny tights. Zensah does what I want. It lessons and helps me recover from fatigue. These shorts are probably my favorite compression piece to date.

Recommend These Compression Shorts for Actual Running. Not for Use in Civilian Applications
Zensah Recovery Compression Short. XS too roomy in waist but good compression in thigh area. Hits just above knee. Easy to put on and take off. Seems to hold it's shape after multiple wash and wears. Normal wash and dry. Quality material, well made but NOT fashion forward. I'm around 105 but I would not wear these out in public. Material is too thick. Looks like I borrowed my grandmother's compression shorts nevertheless my favorite shorts to wear on the treadmill. I may get another pair because of the comfort/construction but will definitely not be stylin'.

Best compression short yet
I have tried UA, Nike, and CEP compression shorts and these are by far the best of the bunch. Nike and UA offer very little in the way of actual mm/Hg of compression, and the CEP had too many seams and was a very strange fit. Love the fit of the Zensahs, real mm/Hg compression (if unspecified), and the 3D woven fabric with a single seam down the inner leg with a sewn gusset at perineum for no painful chafing on long runs. Longevity is still to be tested, but the initial 25k run with 3000 feet of vertical says these are part of the kit for summer mountain running in the CO Rockies!!!

COMPRESSION, whooo!
I was very skeptical at first due to the relatively reasonable price; all other compression gear is in the $80-100 range so when I saw these at half the price, I was unsure if they were any 'good'.I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the quality! The compression is amazing. Much stronger than Under Armour and most of the CX-W I have worn.Easy to wash. However, I would not wear these "as is". They are best worn under a pair of soccer type shorts.I have recommended these shorts to several people and they too have bought and love these shorts.Follow the sizing guidelines provided by Zensah.Happy wearing!

I love these but find seams wear out(develop holes) way quicker ...
I love these but find seams wear out(develop holes) way quicker than I think they should. Usually in crotch area and then there is chaffing and pinching. I am tough on stuff yo be fair as an endurance athlete (triathlete IM distances).

Best Training Aid
I purchased these compression shorts when I upped my weekly mileage and began having pain in my thighs. The quality is top notch. They are woven in several different directions and the subsequent compression will be much tighter than what you will have experienced with lesser products.. I can double my mileage when wearing these with less aches and pain the next day. I also use their compression calf sleeves. Top notch quality. They are a little warm for wearing in the summer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Zensah products. They are expensive but worth every dime.

Delivered what was needed
I am a competitive runner and have had numerous hip problems, particularly with my piriformis but also with other muscles in the area. Now after a hard or a long run I wear these for the rest of the day. they have helped significantly in mitigating the hip muscle problems I have. They are also very comfortable. Another runner friend even wears them in bed to get overnight benefits! They are obviously not cheap but I now use them so much I have invested in a second pair.
