Makes floating shelves a doddle
All the floating shelves I have built before have been quite time consuming, because I would build a frame sandwiched top and bottom with 6mm MDF and then face the front edge with 6mm MDF. This meant the shelves would end up quite thick, depending on the frame timber sized used.For this build I glued two 18mm MDF sheets together, drilled and routered a recess into the back edge to fit brackets in flush and installed.Much quicker and easy to do.
