Awesome Game Book
The book is a great fan collectible. I got it b/c i wanted something more official to assist me in all the moral conflicts in the game. I also like having a check list I can see. This has that and more.Pros: you can takethe game and book and disappear for years doing everything and reading everything. The book has so much useful stuff like maps, cave maps, item locations etc etc. Just amazed and over loaded with useful info in this book.- the cover is really good quality and is hard bound.Cons:- the 2 Lithographs are awesome by themselves. But i really expected something like a poster to hang up in my man cave. These are only letter size. But at least thr ink and arts is top notch.- most of the pages, the images are dull and colors don't match the game. It's like each mini image they turned up the gamma. The large page images are in good color though... so not sure what happened. Poor quality control maybe on the ink.- I thought the book was coming with download codes for the expansions. I didn't need them. But would be nicer if they clarified that on their verbage. Let that be warning for those that read it that way too.- extreme detail... but maybe missing the key things we morally objective seeking people need. I.e. book said just do this... but reddit evidence showed different side-effects if you did things. (Maid bilberry)- could use an index lol.

amazing book, nice for those who love collect this ...
amazing book, nice for those who love collect this kind of book, ist very fat and wide, good illustration. And about the guide it's amazing if you want to do a quest is very easy to reed, have very good information and tips inside the book, and its will be a great help if you are in a place without internet. BTW the online guide its very good also, and make worthy the price of the guide if you don't want to lose too much time looking for a key word only with your eyes ( i mean ctrl+f : key word inside the guide and bang).

Awesomesauce!
Definitely information overload. Even after countless hours of play, the guide has hinted that I haven't even done 1/3 of it. Don't just read through it before you play! Only use it if you need it! Even after 'beating' the game (which I personally think is impossible), there are parts of the guide I skip by because I haven't seen that. I have, indeed, learned about quite a few different outcomes of questlines because of choices I made. Whoops. Didn't want to know those. Amazing guide. Huge, too. Serves as a nice robber-beating device if necessary.

Not perfect but great for $30
Holding this guide in your hands reminds me of thick history textbooks from high school or college. Which is great because it's packed with so much information. The pages are thin like a typical textbook just like how other reviewers noted but it's not that bad and it doesn't bother me. The pages aren't thin enough that it would tear on you.I notice that some people paid a lot for this but I only paid $30 so it's great value, so why not give it 5-stars. If I paid over $50 than I'd give it 4-stars but I got a great deal through amazon. The price goes up and down daily so just watch it closely and purchase it than.

Recommend...
If you want a quality guide, that completely covers all aspects of Witcher 3 and all DLC's get this or the paperback version. This is "coffee table" quality. The paper, the colors, the cover. A really nice item. If you get stuck, it beats bothering with the web trying to find an answer. Also, explains consequences of your choices. Saves a lot of replay cause you wanted a different outcome for a quest. Have not found it lacking, be it quests, locations, items or hints. If you want a quality, easy to use guide, Witcher III will not disappoint you. Book or game.

A small step down in durability of the guide itself, but full of good info
The first part of my review will be a comparison between the previous edition of this guide (no DLC content) versus this one. The second part of my review will be this particular guide itself. I apologize if the pictures are a little blurry, I couldn't hold my phone still, and the camera is flaky sometimes.Pros:Tons of quality content, information about the base game and all of the DLC.Information well organized and easy to access.Cons:Pages feel flimsy compared to other guides and previous release of this guide.Color on pictures is awkward (more below). The main reason why I bought this guide was the fact that I liked how well the information was organized. Even though I already had the guide for the base game, I wanted the additional DLC content thoroughly laid out. In terms of the information inside the guide itself, this thing is rock solid. Now to the cons, which are good to be aware of when buying this guide: The pages of the guide feel flimsy. I worry about ripping them when paging through. The previous iteration of the guide had a sort of glossed finish on them, a sort of thin laminate if you will, so it helped guard a little against rips and felt nicer on the fingers. The new iteration of the guide (this one) still has that laminate feel, but it is noticeably less so, and the pages feel slightly thinner, hence my worry of them ripping. The coloring of the pages is also "awkward". Looking past the slightly blurry images I've supplied, it can be observed that the newer guide seems to take the original images and turn the brightness up a bit, such that they don't look as good. If the screenshot is of Geralt inside a dark sewer, I expect it to look dark to match my game, not be turned up such that the blacks turn to shades of light grey. Because of this slight change in coloring, images look slightly less sharp. These two issues aren't deal breakers, but they were minor letdowns.Keep in mind though that this comparison is coming from someone who is discretely comparing the two editions, so others might not care if this is the first edition being bought. Overall the content within this guide continues to impress on the level of detail provided. If anyone is thinking of purchasing this guide for a detailed overview of the game (including the DLCs) mechanics, quests, etc, I wholeheartedly recommend it, just be aware of the "cons" I pointed out when going into it.
