Does exactly what it says it does
Just remodeled the bathroom. This unit holds the temperature no matter what other water usage is going on in the rest of the house. So easy to use ... Great engineering and design.Highly recommend if you don't want your water temperature changing during the shower.Also, the pushbuttons are great and you can just keep the temperature selector where you want it, hop in the shower the next time, and within seconds, the water is at the desired temperature.

Beautiful engineering in a shower valve
The media could not be loaded. These are really amazing engineering that you don’t see in American made fixtures like Moen or Kohler. Hansgrohe is fine German engineering and these are so easy for our family to use (with little ones). Simply push the button and the thermostatic valve puts out 100* water so we don’t have to worry about scalding.No torquing of a valve or other nonsense, the simple push buttons should last a lifetime

Well worth the money!
I first saw this system while traveling in Asia and fell in love with it. It is so quick and easy to use. The plumber who installed this really appreciated the high quality and ease of install. Would definitely recommend this purchase. Well worth the money.

Was using the round one, but had an issue so we had to get the square one
In our original design we were going to go with the round version of this Valve Trim, and had order 2, one for the guest and one for the master bathrooms. One of the round ones we received had a broken part that could not be fixed/replaced for a few weeks and we did not have time to wait, so I found another seller selling this square one.And I must say for our master shower here, it worked out better than had we had the round one. I love the square look here in our shower. It works well with the tile, while contrasting the round shower heads. Makes it more interesting for me.I love the button to turn on style of this Trim. No need to trying to figure out a complicated shower to turn on, just push the button and it turns on. Also the temp control is easy to understand.I really love our purchase and love the way our shower(s) turned out, both with the square one here, but also the round one we put into the Guest shower.

A few details about the functionality of this setup ...
I used this on a walk-in shower installation with a rain shower head and hand held wand. I can walk in, hit the button, and step back without getting wet, which I was concerned about. There's about a one to two second delay before the water starts flowing. Each of these buttons is an on/off valve, and when the button is out, the valve is in the on position. They push very easily. There is no volume control - its either full on or off, which is fine for how we are using it. Also, both valves can be turned on at the same time.Thermostatic valve works excellent maintaining pressure and temperature.Installation instructions are very good.As previously mentioned in other reviews, the outer pieces are plastic, which has become the norm even in high-end plumbing fixtures. Having said that, the fit and finish are of excellent quality.

Was nice while it lasted
Spent a lot on this luxury shower device for our renovated master bath. 5 years later and it no longer manages the temperature as promised. When we first turn the shower on it takes a while to warm up. The main feature of this only lasted a few years. Disappointing.
