The shade was easy to install and blocked the light well. I think it is important to know to install the shade as close as possible to the window glass for optimum light blocking and minimum gaps. Good product.

I had this product up in about 10 minutes after taking down the old blinds. It fits the window good and rests against the frame for a complete block out of the street light. It is in my son's room and he likes the chain instead of the pull down like the old ones. Only complaint is the plastic gear is kinda clunky and makes more noise than some other ones that I have seen. Guess next time I will research a bit more to find one with smoother rolling. Overall I am pleased with it.
