Product exactly like the original gas cap. Only minor tricky part was inserting the expanding tether fastener. I first tried to force fit the fastener, but figured out that the pin portion of the fastener has to be "pulled out" before the fastener can easily get inserted into the small hole. After the fastener is inserted, then the pin must be forced down via friction fit. WD oil makes it easier. No instructions come with the gas cap, so you have to use common sense.

This is a oem knockoff made in china. Meant to look like the real thing but it is not. And when you buy a Porsche you buy german engineering.

I replaced my cap after the lanyard thingy broke. While not the same fit and finish as the factory unit, it did work and the quality is OK.
