got the wrong string, my own fault-but look good quality, whatever they are for?
I ordered the wrong sting for my 12 i am guessing these are for banjos or something?? Never used these in my puff and been playing guitar for 40 years. I thought, What? a loop end, Ah, must be able to just pop the peg through the middle must be new or something. Not releasing it pulls the peg out big time when tuning and no other way of holding it in. Oh, well you learn something new all the time. Therefore, next time I must read the description properly and look for the ball end strings- NOT LOOPS!Thanks for sending it out anyway, fast shipping and looked good quality.

This string is so good it makes me wear turtleneck shirts all the time
You put this string on a mandolin or a banjo, tune it up properly, open your Burt Weedon Play-In-A-Day chord book and man, will you be popular at parties. I get invited to parties all the time. At one this guy from the CIA came up and started discussing alternative tunings and we somehow shifted into talking about alternative ways of changing a foreign countries' government. He said this very string was the one he used to bump off some bad guys back in Beirut in the 1950s. I think he used it on their throats but by this time a lovely blonde had distracted my attention at the party and I lost my train of thought. Turns out she was a Russian spy checking out the CIA guy I was talking to. I was chatting her up nonetheless until she asked me if I had any spare mandolin strings and hoo boy, did I get out of that party fast! Since then I have only worn turtleneck shirts, never an open shirt or one with a collar.
