thick material makes it sturdy with handle and latch
These are made of a thick and sturdy plastic. There are two tabs to snap each case close and it snaps tight. I don't see any gaps that would allow any water or such to get inside them. There's a handle which is tight up against the case, it takes a bit of wiggling to get my fingers under it and it raises just enough to carry from room to room, which is all I really need a handle for.My issue is that it opens more or less in the center, dividing the case in half, versus a container in which just the top opens. It's about 2" deep, so you can put a 2" stack of papers in to it, but when you open it, half that stack is just resting on top of the lower papers and not confined in the container (photo 2). What this means for me is that when it's open, if I bump it or my table, etc. half the stack slides out of the container. This annoys me no end.But on the other hand, when you open it you now have two full 1" deep sides so if I'm sorting my papers, I have two spots per case to do so.So I both love and hate the center opening, lol.As I use these to store my unfinished collage papers in, they're closed most of the time and I have no complaints, they keep things safe and dry.

perfect storage box for papers
Great bins, but overpriced at thirty (cost at time of writing this review). Perfect for gathering papers, printouts, notes, etc. I use these for temporarily gathering and storing smaller finished artworks on paper. They are easy to store and pull out. I'm not entirely sure if they are acid free, so take cuation for longer term storage of important items.

Good Storage Option
These project cases are nicely-made and perform as advertised. Perhaps a bit overpriced, but theyβre a pretty good buy if you need to protect papers, etc.
