Teaching Math to Students with Learning Disabilities: Implications and Solutions

As a special education teacher, I was looking to expand my toolbox, and the title of this book drew me in. Once I received it, I was disappointed to find it very technical and written in a textbook format. I need things to take into the classroom today, not theories and developmental perspectives. I was lost in the first chapter, and because latter chapters built on this understanding, I struggled. It's a $30 book sitting on my shelf, probably never to be picked up again. I was so disappointed!

I had to use this text for a class and review chapters. It had examples and explained them well.The chapters were "dense" but understandable.
