They come flat in a vacuum sealed package and they are supposed to expand into their true form within 2-3 days. Well, it's been 2-3 months and 90% of them are flat as pancakes! I invested like an hour using a blow dryer to try to help induce the process, helped some but it would take all day to do that with 10-12 squares! Even if you have to pay twice as much on a better quality product, do it! Otherwise you will end up waisting whatever you invest in these and having to spend $ to purchase another set that actually work. As far as the effectiveness of the sound dampening, I'll never know because they are unusable!I'm easy to please and don't recall ever leaving a negative review before in any regard, and I've been ordering several products a week for years. So...... They suck and I'm disappointed. 😩

Good experience for buying this Sound Proof Foam Panels, I used hear noise from the frieger and neighbor, but this sound proof foam panels helped a lot, I purposely tried it for a whole month then I tell you, it’s worth it!

I let these sit out on the floor for days to inflate, and 4 of the panels were unalterably flattened and unusable.

Liked the look of the panels and they adhere very well to the wall! Unfortunately, half of the panels remain flat from packaging (after waiting 2weeks)

I added this sound panels on my door to stop the sounds coming from outside in the hallway. They did helped with the sound, but when the time come to move our and remove them, they do not come off until you really scrub them off and damage the wall/door. My landlord took our half of my deposit for the damage on the door. Definitely not easy to take off and do not recommend them.

Wouldn't inflate. It comes vacuum sealed and stayed the same size as it was when it was vacuum sealed. The company would be better off to stop packaging their products this way. I bought 4 packs and All of them did the same. I waited two weeks for them to fill with air and they never did. I then did replacements and the same thing happened with all the replacements. don't waste your money

Good for myself to choose this sound proof foam! That makes the noise quite much smaller than before! But just let them recover to the original look take me a while, other things are very good!

They are packed compressed, this I knew going into it, but the adhesive backing is stuck on every other layer in the stack to the edges of the next panel. Separating them tears the edges of the panels and turns them into a hot mess. They work, they're just not pretty at all. I'll be using these in a crawl space above my office and get 'nicer' ones for inside.
