2018 update:For some reason, the newer cases for iPhone 7 Plus and up peel within a week or two of using the case. I purchased the grey one about 3 times, and all 3 have peeled. I don’t know what they have changed - but whatever it is they need to change it back. I love the case but not the cosmetic issues.Original review:I have been using the "Stowaway" line of cases since I have had an iPhone 5. Each year when I get a new phone, Incipio is quick to release a credit card/wallet case. I am now currently using the iPhone 7 plus Black Stowaway and love it. This model is a lot more sturdy than the iPhone 6 case (the door always fell off on the 6 plus case).Pros:Very ProtectiveFits 3 cards easilyCan fit 4 cards if they are printed and not embossedEasy to use/ maintainCan still use all buttons/features of the phoneIsn't slippery or hard to holdDiscrete- people will not know your cards are in your case until they see you open it!PriceCons:Cards are sometimes difficult to remove. Great case! Loved it on my iPhone 6 so much, I ordered one for my 7 plus as soon as I upgraded. I can even put 4 cards in it & a bill or 2 folded with the 7 plus. Definitely a few bills with 3 cards. Comes with a rear phone screen protector from card wear and tear. Won't find better quality or a more practical product for the money. They last just about forever through a good beating. I'm a fireman and a tow truck driver..so, I'm not gentle. It's a steal. Get it already!

I've had this hard-shell case for nearly 3 years. I like it enough that I just purchased a replacement. There are two things to know about it. When using the kickstand feature to hold the iPhone for viewing, if you place it on a surface that offers little friction, it will assuredly snap closed on you. If it does stay open on a surface that offers little friction, when you get a push notification that causes your iPhone to vibrate, or your iPhone rings, it will certainly flip closed at that point. Use caution where you place your iPhone for viewing. The other problem is why I just replaced it. The door would no longer remained closed. There are little stubby portions of the plastic that simply wore down, and no longer hold the case's door closed (see picture). Other than those two issues, it has been a good case.

Thought I was ordering for an iPhone 7. Had not even heard of an iPhone 7 plus. The plus phone cover is too big. I had an old one of these same covers for my phone -- about two years old. And it started wearing off and feeling sticky (others have called this "peeling"). Kinda gross. But I loved it when it wasn't doing this, so ordered the new one, which doesn't fit. The packaging is such that you have to completely rip it up to get the case out, so it's not really in returnable condition. So it was a waste of the $18 or so I paid for it. I may order another, right one for my iPhone 7, but I'm looking around at other cases which I may get instead.

I had the same case for my iPhone 6, although within 2 yrs I ordered this case 3 times due to it wearing down or the hinge eventually failing, so I got this case for my 7 plus, I'm use to not carrying a wallet and only bring 1 card and an ID, 3 cards if I need to. I expect this case to wear out in a few months, the smooth slippery feeling will go away in a few weeks, sleek looking case, built well, this is my go to case for every new iPhone.

I love this case. I get lots of comments on it too. It eventually gets dirty (as evidenced in the photo!) or the rubber that holds the door breaks (other photo) but it's worth the price to buy another one. The only thing I don't like is that the turquoise color is now a green instead of a blue (see photo). Not a deal breaker though. Also, there is no pop out stand like before but I didn't use it that much anyway. Just get a Desk Phone Dock Holder by Tsumbay.

This case does what it's supposed to: protect your phone and hold a few cards. It feels pretty durable, and has raised edges on the front of the case, so if you lay your phone face down, you don't have to worry about scratching the screen. Speaking of that, it does come with a screen protector, but I opted out of using it. I just don't like screen protectors, and I don't need them anyway, seeing as how I never drop my phone (Lucky me!)***EDIT: The included film is not actually a screen protector, it is for the back of your phone, so that you don't scratch the back surface of your phone when sliding the credit cards in and out. ***The card holder isn't hard to open, and you may have to maneuver the cards a little when putting them in and taking them out, but it's not a big deal once you get used to it. It seems to hold (3) cards max, while still being able to securely close the door.I would say the "kickstand" is a bonus feature, however, there is definitely room for improvement there. There is a lot of resistance when opening the door of the card compartment, so unless you use it on carpet or a really grippy surface, it will snap shut and fall flat.Overall, this is a great case. Incipio is my favorite brand of phone cases and I have been using them for years with no issues. That being said, I decided to order my usual pick as an alternative: the Incipio Feather Case. It offers minimal protection, and keeps the slim profile of the phone, but still creates a barrier between it and the surface I lay it on.

Great case fits really well all the buttons and holes for changing and camera are perfect the only thing is the door for the cards does no quite open far enough for me I will never use it as a kickstand so for me if it opened a little further it would be better I would recommend this case. Update. December 2020 just bought a replacement could not get black so bought gray. Love this case. Last case could still be used just the corner starting to come apart and that said there was only a few of these left so grabbed it. Hope they keep making these for all phone’s in the future so I know I can get one for whatever phone I purchase next. Could be iPhone 20 or 30 the way they keep pumping them out lol.

Nice protective case. I had the previous version for an iPhone 6 Plus, and the new variant for the iPhone 7 Plus works better. With the old version, two credit cards was a squeeze; the new version fits two cards easily. Looks nice, protects phone great; only draw back in it is slightly bulky -- but hey it has to be to fit the cards -- though still fits well in jeans front pocket, and saves me from carrying a wallet, which I never do now. Just iPhone with this case and my car keys.

I have used the Incipio Stowaway case for my last three iPhones. Love it. With the card holder in the back I no longer carry a wallet. Protects the phone from drops and the kickstand is surprisingly handy.

Access to card is pretty good, just not quite as good as the older version stashback
