Quality product and effective results!
I bought this as a late night impulse buy, but it actually is super effective! I feel like I already can see results. This is a good starting place for anyone who hasn’t tried this product before. As for results, it’s very simple, as time went by and I used this I started seeing a perfect chess, my resin chess started appearing. It works great but if you tear too hard it can rip and progressively get worse. You should be careful of demolding for that to happen though.1. In order to get the cleanest effect, please make sure to paint one color at a time on the board, and then let the color harden. I waited 3 hours before I did the next color, and that was plenty of time.2. Important! When pouring the chess pieces, you need to pour the resin into the mold, and then squeeze the bottom of the mold to release any bubbles. You need to do this until all bubbles are removed from the mold. It is not difficult, but it is necessary! This product literally beats all and each one of the chess molds out there, choose this one, I promise they won’t make you unhappy. Also very fast shipping. Came under 3 Days.I hope you find my experience helpful.

Beautiful resin chess pieces
My son plays chess and he is always few pieces short. So I thought if I get the mold I can always made some myself. I tried it once it arrived. And oh dear they turn out beautiful. Here are some tips based on my experiences.1) One color needs ~200ml resin (100ml resin+100ml hardener). If you want some extra you can prepare 225ml in total for one color. This amount includes chess board, chess pieces, the little round thing...2) After two colors, you still need about 250ml mixture to finish the rest of the board. Because it needs some thickness. I am actually thinking about putting a 10" X 10" wood piece there.3) When you remove the chess piece from the mold, try not to pull the resin piece out. On the other hand, try pull the mold in reverse direction. Place you thumb under the top of chess piece (the bottom of the mold) and push it out of the mold. Meanwhile, peel/pull the mold downwards with other fingers. The mold can stretch really well.4) I am thinking about putting a 1" round wood piece on top of the mold so the chess piece can have a solid wood base. Haven't tried it yet.Overall I am very happy with this set. And I have multiple color combination ideas for more chess piece/board. :D

Good set but smaller than expected
The chess pieces are great but the checkers and board were smaller than expected. Challenging to get them out of the Molds. But overall good set.

Worth every dollar!
If you are looking for a durable mold that is easy to demold whatever you are using...this is it. Everything came as the pictures showed and thus far nothing has tore or melted during my project. I was worried about the king with his cross, however, he slipped right out. The tips and tricks they give, do indeed work and I'm a bit blown away by the quality of the molds. They feel good and are a breeze to clean.Personal tip for epoxy users: This is just how it worked out for me but it took me forever to find this info/figure it out myself. When filling the chess board or any colors of epoxy, pour the first color in each of the desired squares. I filled them maybe about half way. Then WAIT until the resin starts to thicken. The idea here is you want that resin to have it's exothermic reactions(meaning it will be HOT!). CAREFULLY add the second color to the first squares you filled. Swirl with a toothpick only once or twice, allow to set BEFORE adding the next color(s) to the other squares. The lip of the squares is kinda small and I found that if I tried to do all the squares at once, some of them bled into other squares. Hope this tip helps anyone else who might be struggling to get resin colors to stop bleeding. Enjoy!

NOT easy to use, Rips easily
The media could not be loaded. So I got this mold specifically for a client request. While the board so far is fine (it is tedious to do each individual square but that is fine. I find it extremely upsetting that when I went to demold my big chess piece the mold tore!!! Not only that, it was a pain in the butt to get the bubbles out of the bottom and it was insanely difficult to keep them standing up to dry. I definitely have a love hate relationship for this mold. I just ordered a new set for the pieces. Hopefully they will work. Because if not, I am screwed. For the money I paid for this mold I expect it to be less of a hassle to get it out and also not rip. The video shows me putting the mold back out to be able to make another piece but I am struggling to get it to go so imagine if resin was in that thing.
