I ordered this vacuum over any of the more expensive models specifically because I have low furniture that is approximately 2.5" off the floor which is too large to move. This vacuum fits under all my furniture perfectly and does a very good job picking up dust, dirt, and anything else it finds. The motor is pretty quiet and this vacuum can be run while watching TV with minimal distraction (I tried running it while I slept once and the vacuum noise was fine but the sound from it bumping into walls every few seconds was too much and I ended up turning it off).I do wish the unit had room mapping technology but for this price level and the ability to fit under my furniture it is no big loss. Because this vacuum randomly bumps from wall to wall it will not get every speck of dirt every time and sometimes will not even enter certain rooms. The key to using it effectively is running it once a day and eventually it will get that spot it missed previously. The "eyes" sometimes see a wall and sometimes don't so it is hit or miss whether or not it will stop before it bumps into something. When the vacuum does bump into an object it does not hit with very much force and I do not think it could damage any furniture although after my first use it did have scratches on the black plastic front from rubbing along door edge bottoms (a second rubber bumper above the plastic should solve this in case the manufacturer is reading along). The included remote control is useful for guiding the robot out of trouble, to home base, or to a room that needs extra attention. The vacuum runs about two hours on a single charge and it will automatically find home when it reaches low battery. The robot has to have a clear line of sight to the home base to find it otherwise it will wander around aimlessly so placement is very important. I have the base in my living room along an open wall and haven't had any issues yet where the robot couldn't find it, however I could imagine trouble if you have a large sprawling house with many rooms or a lot of clutter. As with any other robot vacuum some attention will need to be given to robot proofing the house by securing loose cords and fixing any areas that cause it to get stuck consistently. If it does get stuck it will automatically shut off and let out a series of beeps until it is rescued. This vacuum will not replace cleaning by a human but it will reduce the required frequency; I went from having to sweep on a daily bases to once a week.Overall I am very happy and would make this purchase again if given the opportunity.

Not very impressed. It's a budget quick fix with mediocre performance.
It does suck up some dirt, however, it's brushes seem to fling more dirt outward across the floor than carefully to it's center where the vacuum is located. It seems to error often while trying to dock and it's little brushes seem to get tangled up fairly easily.I find it frustrating to feel like I still have to vacuum or sweep after using it.I only used it on linoleum as the description had suggested. It doesn't look equipped to handle carpet at all.But I gave it to stars because it at least did pick up some dirt, so it was able to make sone improvement while I was busy in another room. BUT, if I want a more reliable clean... I just end up using a regular vacuum or broom instead or even after this unit has made it's attempt. Not terrible for a budget quick fix, but be prepared for mediocre performance. :(*UPDATE* I was only able to use it a few times before it stopped charging. Now it just sits and beeps on the charger and won't run at all. Very disappointed.

Love this little vacuum
I've been using this vacuum every day now for 3 months now and it's made my life with a cat so much cleaner! I have dark wood floors that really showed my cat's light fur and it was driving me crazy. I really bought this vacuum in the hopes that it would pick up the cat fur, but not clog up with my long hair (which has broken lesser vacuums before and is a huge problem with irobot machines) and it has delivered! The two spinning brushes in the front are the only places that pick up my long hair, and when they get too tangled with it, they just pop off on their own. Yes you have to retrieve the brush and clean it off, but that's a hell of a lot better than your hair breaking the motor. In addition to picking up hair around the house, it's picking up most of the kitty litter that my cat tracks around the place too! Since I bought this little machine, I can count on my hands the number of times I've needed to break out the manual vacuum to clean tight spots it can't reach and IT IS GLORIOUS.Now for the minor cons: I haven't been able to get the remote to activate the vacuum when it's on the charging base. If I want to use the remote to order it around, I have to first go to the vacuum and press the AUTO button first, and then the remote will work. This is a super lazy complaint and I realize that, but remotes are supposed to be lazy! I also really wish it could recognize it's own charger and not bump into it. I've had a couple of times where the vacuum would knock its charger so out of place that it couldn't get on the base to charge after its cycle. This isn't a huge deal, since you can just pick up the vacuum and put it on the base, but I feel like it would be an easy thing to add for the designers of this. Last thing is that the sensors on the vacuum that let it detect obstacles aren't too great. It bumps into anything and everything which kind of doubles as an alarm clock in the mornings so it works in my life, but it's something that could definitely be improved on. The front of the vacuum has a bumper that acts sort of as a button to let it know it's bumped into something. So in conclusion, the pros:- Picks up cat hair, cat litter, and normal dust around the house like promised, so the suction is decent.- Doesn't get tangled with my super long and strong hair!!! (And also picks it up if you don't count having to pick up the brushes that pop off) As I mentioned, this is a pretty big problems for irobot machines since they have the traditional rotating cylindrical brushes.- Can set on a 24 hour loop, so you don't have to pick a vacuum anymore for day to day things.- Can use the remote to move it around for spot cleaning, kind of like a remote controlled toy car.- I was worried that it wouldn't get a very good coverage since it doesn't learn your floor plan like irobot machines, and instead just randomly roams around, but that hasn't really been an issue. My floors look clean every day and I'm happy!- Another concern for me was it getting stuck everywhere and I haven't needed to rescue it too much. It will beep angrily if it's really stuck, usually jammed between legs of chairs.- Can be a cat transporter. :)The cons:- The remote won't work unless the vacuum is powered on either manually or during a set cleaning session.- Knocks its own charging base around, which is kind of silly.- Vacuum itself isn't too loud but it bumping into everything is loud. Wish the sensors were a little better.Protips:- If the plastic front brushes get all bent out of shape (again, I have really strong hair), you can just dip the plastic in hot water and it will go back to looking brand new!- This vacuum is definitely designed for hard floors, not carpet. It makes angry noises on my IKEA bathmat but won't suck it in or get stuck on it. You can fold up the edges of carpets to make a barrier if it really bothers you. Doesn't get angry at the rubber kitchen mats though!- Make sure to secure any wires it could get into. Definitely as sucked in some of my string lights (didn't break them) and random cords around the house before. This is the prime reason it gets stuck around my place, but this is going to happen with any robot vacuum so I'm really to blame for it.If you have a cat, this vacuum is the bomb diggity and you should totally get it!
