Best book for UPSC,state PCS, administrators
The book ‘ breaking through new earth ‘ by Jatish Chandra Mohanty, is a wonderful book for the Civil Services Aspirants, especially for ethics and integrity / interview/ or an overall motivation plus candidates preparing for Groups and as well as it serves as a best guide for the administrators. If one has the capability to derive from his experiences, this book is helpful to apply in general.I am one of the subjects at page no. 63 where It is mentioned about how he got the way out of a seemingly hopeless situation. The benefits of which are passed through generations.And this is one instance of his decades of service and his experiences must have touched thousands of lives.Abiding by the rules, thinking ethically and finding a way out by bringing out the best possible solution to a seemingly impossible solution if went by the rules is his expertise.Read it ...it’s a treasure and every line is worth reading ...Rachanna

Excellent book for serious reading
The book is more of a professional autobiography of a successful career administrator. It vehemently stresses the importance of intent to perform against all the inherent bottlenecks in the system. Another take away from it is - big bang policies are not imperative to bring about major desirable changes in service delivery. Several small innovative modifications in procedures can work wonders in quality of service delivery. Positive frame of mind , strong motivation and to see good in others are some of the lessons to be learnt to be a good leader.It's a manual for those who are beginners in administration.

Great Book, it's an honor to read
It's a highly recommendable book. Every word in this came from a great person with a great experience. Great man Mohanty had serviced the public in many roles that's why he knows everything in public life. I have felt proud to read this great book.

The book is very explanative .
The book is very explanative and the Author has narrated in detail about his field experiences and how he solved the problems in the filed. This will be a boon for young officers to overcome the field problems.Expect many more books from him.

Interesting read!
The author gives deeper insights into how challenging certain government jobs are and how they massively impact the lives of the citizens. I highly recommend you buy one for yourself and couple of more to gift your friends, relatives and clients.

Great book from a person with Harvard PhD, three decades of IAS and Political experiences combined
Great book from Dr. JC Mohanty. Lot of insights and stories on how complex problems were handled by himself and people around him. Nicely organized. Great read for those in Government to serve more, corporate world to lead with human touch, and others to understand and appreciate the developmental contributions to the areas he served in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
