Great Lamp
I love this headlamp. In fact, this is my third one. The first was not quite as powerful as this version; however, is was great for locating predators and pests from a distance. It lasted a number of years. Number two was great; however, my pup got hold of it and chewed the headband, batteries and carrier to where it is completely unserviceable. You can adjust the focus from a broad area to a tight grouping. This headlamp is perfect for anyone needing to spot something at longer distances.

Overall, a great light
It’s very bright. On the brightest setting the batteries last a few hours before it starts getting really dim. It lasts much longer on the lower setting. Strobe it rather pointless and I can not ever see a reason for needing it. The cord for the battery charger is it’s weakest point. It breaks at the plug in point from bending. I have an external battery charger in the truck that I run through an inverter but it only charges when the truck is running. A bit of a pain, really. But it fits on my hard hat well and is pretty rugged as I’m a construction worker and it’s outlasted the charging cord. This is my third one that I’ve bought.

the "updates" on this model continue to worsen
I purchased one of these (QWERTYBULLSHIFT)model headlamps several years ago and came to enjoy using it. I had a bad run in with a second nonsensename model where they moved the on/off switch from the light housing to a wire along the elastic band (that de-soldered itself every other month) causing need for another version, I found The Revenant (similar just with elastic loop cut-in at 45deg angles-better at staying attached). As I've caught that headlamp on too many objects in too many tight spaces the elastic-holding tabs of that frame have finally broken off, leading me to seek yet another replacement. This iteration has added "padding"(barely even thick enough to call it that) around the removable belt clip attaching the LED to the frame and, completely ignoring the knuckle-hard ribbing on this piece, attached the headband separately on both sides instead of looping it through (thus covering the ribbing en route) and all the way around, leaving the ribbing to dent your forehead while you're using it. This isn't noticeable at first, but becomes incredibly painful when taking it off. W.T.H? I had to cut a patch of cosplay foam just to be able to continue using it. Band from previous Revenant with broken tabs may be useful here. Next, they used a perpendicular cut-in for the elastic tabs with an 1/8" slice that the elastic CONSTANTLY slips out of. This cut-in is way too large. To fix this I had to use 6(one for each tab) 3/4" binder clips clamped to the frame with the steel clips removed. Numerous DIY jobs just to be able to use this headlamp without it constantly falling apart/causing headaches. Not happy at all with the "improvements" made to this model. The tactical LED on the housing remains beautifully bright and useful so only -2 stars.

My favorite go to light
I love that these headlamps are rechargeable. And the battery last a long time. The light is super bright and makes it easy to see in the dark. I love that these lights stay in place and don’t slide down.
