I am thrilled with this frame! It is beautiful and very well made. As the other reviewer mentioned, it does come all put together with glass, backing, etc. It has a stand on the back and little hooks for horizontal or vertical hanging. The wood is elegant and smooth, the color very even. The wood measures 1/2 inch on all sides.As the other reviewer said, this frame definitely is DARKER than pictured! It wasn't just a fluke. I can understand why the reviewer was disappointed because she really wanted the frame to be the same bright blue color as pictured. The actual color of this frame is a dark teal, almost close to navy blue. I gave this frame 5 stars because I LOVE the color -- it's unique and rich, and it actually matches the item I'm framing better than the brighter blue color shown on the page. However -- if you're counting on the frame to look like the color pictured here, be warned because the actual color is much different.I ordered this frame yesterday and needed it overnight; happily it arrived early this morning. It was very securely packaged, wrapped several times with bubble wrap, and comes displayed in a nice box, open at the front so you can see the frame but with very secure protective corners.I couldn't be happier with this product! I searched high and low for an 8.5 x 11 frame that isn't plain and boring, but everywhere I looked all I could find was plain old black, brown, gold or silver frames. Those are fine for documents, but I am framing an illustrated quote that was printed on 8.5 x 11 photo paper. I'm surprised at the lack of decorative 8.5x11 frames available in this digital age where that size is the standard in computer paper.

Order 4 frames total in two sizes. All came well packaged in bubble wrap. Frames were well made and well finished. Like that they had relatively small insets around the picture opening. You only lose 1/8 inch on each side of the picture.The only down side is the way the back part of the frame attaches. It only attaches on the short sides into the groove in the frame. On one end, the backing has a thinner tongue and a rotating fastener that slides into the grove. There is nothing holding the backing on the long sides of the frame. Given these frames were 6 inches or less on the long side it is not an issue. There was a bit of glue in the channel that kept the backing from correctly lining up, but fixed that with a sharp knife.Overall was very happy with quality of the frame.

I have a 4" x 5" photo of my husband that I wanted to frame but hadn't been able to find a standard size that wouldn't require either a mat or cropping. I was delighted to find this frame, which solved my dilemma! The frame is great quality....beautiful wood and well constructed with no rough edges (smooth, but not shiny), and it features both a triange-shaped hanger and a fold-out easel stand. I'm using the easel, and it holds the photo at just the right angle. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Fit my picture perfectly

These picture frames are excellent quality and exactly what I was hoping for! I needed a true 4 x 5 frame for a small collage and these were just perfect. They were packaged very nicely, too, insuring the frames were not damaged during shipment. I would definitely purchase again!

For the price this is an okay frame. This size is very difficult to find in stores which is why I ordered it.Part of the frame was dinged up which I wasn't happy with. The half-box it came in was also damaged in one corner.Besides this (if it would have been in good condition), the frame itself is nice and a lovely colour.
