Mild Plantar Fasciitis Gone
Wow...just plain wow...I've been developing a mild case of plantar fasciitis and needed something to help...I wear a size 11 or 11.5 depending on manufacturer...I put these in today and wore them all day in my primary boots...no joke, my pain is literally gone...just one day of wearing these and my foot doesn't hurt anymore...it had been bothering me for a few weeks and was mild but noticeable and I feared it was going to get bad...these not only took care of the pain, but they fit my 5.11 Boots, size 11 perfectly, no trimming necessary, I think they'd fit up to a 12.5 as well...very comfortable, great heel cushion and high arch, everything I could ask for as I have partially flat feet as well...in fact they worked so well the first day I didn't want to take my boots off when I got home...normally I don't wear shoes in the house, but with these in I wanted to leave my boots on and worry about the dirt on the floors later.Update 12/15 - These have worked out so well in my daily boots that I bought a 2nd pair for my gym sneakers. Replaced the original inserts as I was getting mild pain in the heel (plantar fasciitis again) when I did mild to moderate impact cardio. After putting these in, went to the gym, did my normal routine and had zero pain. Been wearing these now for two weeks in my daily boots and a few days in my workout shoes and my heel pain is gone completely. Beyond that they also make your feet feel like they've gone on vacation. Perfect insole, could not ask for more, literally.

These work wonders for me
I walk a few miles almost every day, sometimes more. I developed achillies tendonitis a few months ago and my doc told me to get insoles or wear shoes with good arch support. I didn't want to pay forty dollars for Superfeet so I decided to give these a try. I've been using a couple of sets of these for a few months now - I just switch them between shoes, which is very easy to do. They're great. They're holding up very well under heavy use, and I find that they make a huge difference with my heel pain.If my shoes have removable insoles I take those out because these are thicker than whatever comes in your average shoe. I have one pair of dress shoes that are fairly low-profile, and these insoles make them a bit of a tight fit. They're still wearable, but for long periods of time they don't work for me. But, every other pair of shoes I have are fine. From boots to athletic shoes to casual sneakers to dress shoes. These insoles are a life saver, and they're quite a bit better than anything I've tried from my local drug stores, etc.

Great Pair of Insoles for Someone on Their Feet
I got a pair of New Balances in August which had a really nice cushion which was important to me because I was on my feet all day. Because I worked at Walmart, I quickly destroyed the insole and was basically walking on the hard bottom of the shoe in the heel and ball of feet regions. I finally got sick of my feet hurting so I looked at new insoles and basically picked these at random with no prior experience or knowledge with third party insoles. It feels amazing and like I'm walking on clouds. The only issue is that on my left foot, it feels like the arch support of the insole is too high, and it can cause aches sometimes. It might just be that my the arches of my feet are asymmetric so my left arch is lower than my right arch. These insoles fit my shoes perfectly and I didn't have to cut them or anything. My pair of New Balances is somewhere in the range of 9.5-10.5 US shoe size. I honestly have no idea what it is exactly because I've worn the tag that says the size completely white (like as white as snow that hasn't been disturbed by anything). At the moment, I am a student that works part time. I frequently have to hustle to the opposite side of a large campus within 20 minutes so I walk pretty fast and pretty far every day. My job requires me to stand in place for as many as four hours in a row, so even when I'm not moving, I'm still standing. I've had these for about 6 days now and they are still holding up fine. When I start to see more than minor deterioration I will update this.Next time I need insoles I think I'm going to try the version of this with a slightly smaller arch support, but obviously other people will have different needs.

FANTASTIC!
Fantastic, if your shoe/boot volume will allow it. The sole plate is rather generous in thickness, with a a thick, high-density silicone gel plate. The plate not only absorbs shock ... it also "sticks" the orthotic to the shoe bed.The shock absorption in these is superior to anything else I've tried. Other types have mostly soft, touchy-feely bumpers ... which of course do nothing when subjected to your body's full weigt, plus the momentum of step. THESE heel cushions feel fairly hard ... until you understand what they're doing. They provide gait feedback AND real cushioning. The arch support is quite adequate --- this will depend on your arch requirements. The structural support is excellent. There is also a very pronounced heel cup, an element often overlooked. These orthotics position and stabilize ... they don't simply hike your arches and offer a cushion. The result is a vastly improved experience in hiking boots, walking shoes, and in some running shoes.I find that slight "shimming" at the heel helps with different shoes and boots, to equalize the heel-to-sole heights. (Leather or very heavy felt is best ... if it's too compressible, it won't work properly.)Right now these are "alive and well" in: Merrell Episte, New Balance Dunham hikers, Rockport XCS.
