Soo happy to have a reliable timer that is easy to program. I had an electrician do the wiring, so it's working perfectly.

We have a 240V pump used to irrigate our landscaping with lake water (we live on said lake!). The timer system in place was an Intermatic model normally used for timed operation of things like water heaters in large apartments. Programming it was complicated, and was made worse by the very dim display (had to use a flashlight to see it). It finally lost its mind; would turn on at the wrong times if at all. Ultimately, when power was on with the unit, the pump was always also on, so that wouldn't work well (other than just throwing the breaker ON to water the yard, then remembering to turn it off later. Not a good solution for when on vacation....)This unit seemed like a more updated version of the old Intermatic, so after reading the reviews, I opted for it. Installation was pretty straightforward, as the connections were the same as for the old unit.Once installed, I set the time, and tried operating the system in manual mode. Voila! Success!Now on to programming the new unit. The instructions were fairly clear; they must have hired a tech writer that was adept in English. I set the system for one on-time and the subsequent off-time and selected all 7 days of the week. This was markedly simpler than with the old system. The next morning at 7:15 a.m., Eureka! More success - and it timed out as programmed as well.My only complaint to date is the dim display. Again, with the unit mounted eye-level in my garage, I need to use a flashlight to see the display well enough. All the info is there; it's just not very bright. I guess we're spoiled with our phones and back-up cameras. Seems like a brighter display would be a simple upgrade for the factory to make.All in all, quite satisfied with this timer unit.

Unlike similar wall outlet timers, you cannot pick any combination of days. There are several presets you can choose from like M-F, MTW, etc. The baked in options are probably perfect if you really are using it for a pool pump, but I am using it for something else. It works great. It would have cost me a lot more to make this myself. I am happy with it.

I purchased 2 units. One for a 240v water heater, one for a 120v hot water recirculation pump. Both for my home hot water system. Before ordering, I read a lot of the 1 star reviews. A lot of the reviews stated the install instructions and programming instructions were difficult to understand; display can not be read if not looking straight at it; the display screen dies after 8 months or so.InstallIt does need to be mounted in such a way that you are able to look at the display straight on. Either at standing height or kneeling height for ease of install and programming. If you have a basic understanding of electrical diagrams, these can be installed with ease. I do recommend making your own jumper wires of the same wire gauge you are using for install. This will allow equal clamping pressure when you tighten the clamp screws.ProgrammingIt did take me two tries to get it right only because I skipped a step. If you follow the instructions step by step, programming is a breeze.Display failingI guess I'll find out in 8 months if the display is going to fail. I'll update review if this happens.

This replaced a mechanical unit that had stopped working. It was easy to install and wire. Programming was a breeze. So far very happy with it. The knocks outs are 3/4 inch be aware of that.

No issues as to installation and use.

Works great. Easy to wire. Only easy is the 1 screw in the plate that holds the timer. Too much movement when you are trying to set up.

The way the wiring connectors are made, makes it really hard to wire.There's a video of them wiring it outside the box. Once you put the timer in the box you can't get the wires in place. And they are using light gauge wire in the video. The proper wire is very stiff and difficult to to fit into the hidden ports. The design makes it almost impossible to do it correctly.The diagram using vague terminology instead of standard English doesn't help. Connectors are labeled NO1 and COM instead of black and white or even pos neg and grnd. After fighting with the wires and rerouting the wiring multiple times, it still didn't turn on my water heater. Maybe it's DOA, Did I have it wired wrong? Who knows, because you can't see where to attach the circuit because of the crappy design. Very user unfriendly.

Much better than mechanical timer , used on pool system

I used this timer for my outdoor lights. Very accurate, doesn’t lose time when power goes out, and it’s reliable so far. Prior to this digital timer, I was using analog 120V/240V timer and replaced those units on average 12-18 months. These were unreliable, and always caused issues when power went off, such as timer being stuck on the time it stopped during outage, even after power went back on. These digital units are far easier to use and keep correct time even power outages.

Buen producto, amigable la instalación y conexión, solo tengo una pregunta, como se programa cada "load" en diferentes horarios? Me interesa que el Load1 trabaje en un horario y el Load2 en otro horario diferente. Me indican como hacerlo? Gracias

Well designed control box. One little surprise is that you have to press on a button twice before an item is enabled. For example, if you want to start or stop a pool motor, you have to press the appropriate button twice before it starts or stops. Not really intuitive, but it doesn't show up in the device documentation.
