I am not going to post a picture of my dead hamster. I put this sand in the enclosure inside a little dish off in the corner of the enclosure and my hamster walked around in it a little bit etc. I went to bed and I woke up this morning to my hamster being unresponsive other than when you touched a sensitive part of her body. So I took all the steps I needed to take to try and help from warming her up to giving her thyme etc. She remained unresponsive for about 3 hours all while every breathe she took made a crackling noise. Needless to say she just passed away about 5 minutes before I am writing this literally in hand. I loved my 2 year old hamster very very much and I chalk her death up to your product. Thankyou for that. Also a tip to any potential buyers, unless you want to cry the day after you think your doing something nice for your little family members, think again on this one.

It arrived on Tuesday afternoon and our hamster (not even a year old) was dead by Sunday evening. Only thing that changed for the hamster was THIS SAND! If you don't want to have to deal with heartbroken children over their dead pet hamster DO NOT BUY this product!

I thought it was going to be a great product but it is dusty and way too fine that it is dangerous for hamsters. One of Syrians was ok with it but his brother little fox was so allergic to it. My poor little boy got so itchy, started loosing his fur around his rump and then got a serious uti. Almost lost him. He was very very sick and bleeding and hasn’t yet fully recovered. It was the only change I did while trying to potty train. I had to return this product. So please be careful. I later read several reviews where hamsters died! Please research on which sand or litter to buy. So far play sand( after baking) and repti sand without calcium seems to be highly recommended but still research and be watchful with your hamster until you find one that’s suited for them.

The media could not be loaded.  The package is pretty nice and clean. As the package contains a cover, it is much easier for me to store these sands then before. Now I don't need to worry about whether the sands will leak out. And my hamster loves digging in these sands!!! I would say she spends a lot of time in her bathroom everyday and playing with these sands. So far I did not find any safety problem with these sands. I would believe this product is safe for hamsters.

Perfect bath sand for my hamster. The sand has excellent deodorizing effect. I love the soft floral scent of this bath sand. It’s scent-covering ability is much better than all other bath sand that I’ve tried. I would definitely recommend this product to hamster owners.

I’ve tried both the granular sand and the fine sand. I like the granular one more because it doesn’t seem to clump up as much = less cleaning = happy me. Regardless, I still replace it ever 2-3 days = happy hamster, I think.

Syrian hamster loves her sand! So easy to pour the sand in! Love that spout design. No spilling sand all over my floors.

The sand got hard once wet and it’s not like the other type of sand I got. The other type was able to be sandy so that my hamster can take sand baths. But this hardens and my hamster stopped taking sand baths. No bueno. I don’t recommend this product.
