This is a quality demask brocade fabric with a beautiful pattern and minimal fraying. I used it to re-upholster my dining room chairs to change them from boring beige to warm statement makers. It makes my medium colored wood set look 'custom' versus 'off the shelf'. The gold thread adds to the richness of the look. I am very happy with the outcome of this change.

First time reupholstering anything wland was nervous to say the least. But this fabric was easy to cut using my newly bought K20 German sheers. I used the old fabric as a template and the added about an inch all the way around so I could fold it under before stabling. I removed about 500 ancient square tacks from this and replacd the webbing too. Removed the hair and straw filler and added 2in foam which was a little too thick but I was able to pull it tight and stabled it. While it's not 100% perfect it looks good at 5 feet and I think only I see my few mistakes. Highly recommend as I did end up buying 2 addition yards after my initial 1yd. I used a 1in wide gimp because I thought for sure I'd have more oops moment that I'd need to hide but I didn't. It had 4 layers on it including a pink velvet top layer not shown. I decided to keep the memory of these past fabrics and but a piece of the pink into of the rainbow flower patter before adding my foam. The back has this new matching upholstery now and the bottom was done in a very sheer white that's hidden.

I recovered my 4 dining room chairs and this fabric was perfect. It looks great!

The material is very nice and it arrived in good time. However, the color is not the same as what is shown In the listing. The listing shows it as a blue and cream color. It is much more blue and gold with minimal cream in the pattern.

I was looking for a fabric with a design incorporating a specific gold color to recover seat cushions for my dining chairs to pick up the same gold tone in the newly installed kitchen hardware. After spending days looking on line and in stores, I found this one which looked like it would match exactly if the colors were true to the picture, so I took a chance and ordered. The fabric was delivered early, is a great quality and the colors in the fabric are true to what is shown in the picture. I would definitely recommend this fabric.

This fabric is beautiful, great weight for furniture upholstery. It described as brown but it is gold with a cream/beige background. Not brown which is what I wanted so I am returning it.I would definitely recommend this fabric if your looking for gold/cream combination.

This cloth is both beautiful and durable. I’m using it to reupholster a hope chest.

Absolutely beautiful, thick fabric. There’s more of a gold tone rather than cream color that the photo shows but I still love it.
