Got it for a friend
They said it was aromatic but not too bold in flavor. If comparing to blue mountain, it is less bitter and smoother, but just a tad more humble. They enjoyed it alot with a mocha creamer

AWESOME COFFEE
I like this coffee very much. It has a smooth taste. I love the aroma of the coffee beans when I open the bag and when it's brewing. I will definitely be ordering it again.

Good coffee, but old
Good tasting coffee, very smooth. However , I was a little disappointed that the coffee I received had been roasted 6 months ago.

Best Coffee from Hawaii
Kau coffee mill has the best coffee from Hawaii. It is smooth and great tasting, better than Kona area coffee

I expected better.
Beans were stale and dry. When ground, they gave a sad light brown appearance. Flavor was bland but, still somewhat smooth. Will not purchase again.

Taste great
I had become somewhat of a coffee snob the past several years and was looking for something different. Although I have purchased Kopi Luwak in the past, I tried to minimized (to a degree) how much I wanted to spend on a pound of coffee, usually $20-$25/lb. I thought I would finally splurge and try a Kona coffee, but came across this. I did a little(or a lot) research and hearing that Ku'a has beaten Kona coffee in a taste test and that it's "just as good" without the name recognition, I thought I would give it a go. Using a French press, I made a .5L and wow! this is some great tasting coffee. Highly impressed. Best coffee I have had in years, or ever. I was a little concerned about buying on Amazon, with when it was roasted, how long it has been sitting, but it was roasted 2 months ago, and it should be good for 3 months and this coffee will surely be gone by then, if not the end of the week.

F R U I T Y
Visiting the Big Island, I went on a Kona Coffee Farm tour. As we were driving there, I saw signs along the highway selling Ka'u coffee. I never heard of it, was curious, but didn't have time to stop and grab a bag. I ordered this just to try and honestly, I don't care for it. I've never had a coffee this fruity before. It's almost overwhelming. I don't care for it AT ALL, but because the bag was so pricey I'm determined to finish it.I left a 5 star review because this is a local Hawai'i business, and it's not their fault I blindly bought a bag and don't care for it.
