Excellent build quality, Extremely bright white lights, Great seller, Buy them
2002 Mitsubishi Lancer. These LED headlights are excellent. Buy them without hesitation. These units are really well manufactured, appear very pleasing aesthetically, and perform extremely well with an immense amount of lumens in a very white color. No more overpriced and underperforming halogen bulbs that lose precious lumens over time or burn out long before they should without warning. These units are extremely bright and they were very easy to install even without looking at the directions. The only issue I had was trying to figure out how to slip the retention collar over the unit and then maneuver my hands in a tight place to tighten it down. Thankfully the seal on the neck of the LED bulb pulls straight off and allows you to set the plastic retention ring at the bottom of the LED light stack. The only performance problem I have seen is when I flip on the high beams, I see that the light doesn't scatter forward properly. It looks as if I have a giant dark spot in the center of the beam. Perhaps this could be solved by rotating the LED bulb but I am not sure for a fact what is causing this or what will fix the issue . This really isn't an issue overall because the low beam setting is 4 times brighter than my high beams were with halogen bulbs.I have only been using these bulbs for 3 weeks but I am already very impressed. Thankfully they work very well with my reflector style headlamps and I haven't had a single person Flash their high beams at me to indicate that I am blinding them despite the immense brightness that these throw out. Once again, buy these without hesitation and I personally believe that you will be extremely pleased and impressed. I did a lot of research on different LED headlamps and arrived at these after many hours of searching and reading consumer as well as professional reviews. They will really brighten things up for you! Yes I really said that

Require modifying your vehicle and do not last nearly as long as claimed.
I installed these in our 2010 Pathfinder in December 2017 (February 2022 now, so 4 years and two months ago) and I just noticed one went out already. We have auto-on light sensing headlights and might run headlights for a couple hours a day, these claim 40,000 hours of life and if I'm being VERY generous we got about 3,000 hours before one failed. The other is still going strong, but I'm certainly not replacing them with another set of these. As others said, I had to make some small modifications to the locking ring to install these, thinking they would last a decade or more, I didn't hesitate. With just a couple tools it's not too hard, just beware if you're shy to cut away parts of your car or truck. Now I have to hope that a replacement will still lock into place correctly. That said, while they lasted, they were slightly brighter than the stock lights, and the cooler (whiter) color really helped my wife be comfortable driving at night.

2xs the money for none of the performance, what a bargain
This product is my worst Amazon purchase to date. I had poor visibility with my old headlights, so I decided to upgrade. Now I have headlights that are technically "bright", but basically useless. These turned into an ass-ache before I even got the first lamp locked in place. If your vehicle is like mine, you will have to hand file/saw/trim your old head lamp pastic nut to accommodate the larger housing of the LED. This wasn't hard, just unexpected and slightly irritating (they warn you about it in the instructions, but you don't know until you try to stuff the new lamp in).Once installed, I was able to enjoy the barely usable field of vision offered by the the low beam. With the low beam I can see clear as day, but only for about 20 yards (maybe 30, with snow, tops), and nothing past that. It doesn't fade to a less visible field, no. A Wall of Black. It's winter, I live in the country, and work from dark to dark. In the last 2 weeks of struggling with these lights, I've nearly been in 5 accidents because of deer I should have been able to see. "Why don't you use your high beams?" Is the next obvious question, and a valid one. Well, because when you turn on the "High beam", the beams don't overlap, they barely point in the same direction. This leaves a cone of darkness, directly in front of me starting about 15 yards out and expands in distance and width, making them even LESS effective than the Low Beam. I have tried every combination of mounting orientation possible with the lamps and adjusted the headlights housings to their limits in either direction. The best you can get is high beams at a "is this on high?" with low beams at a "geeze, I think you got ripped off" or the low beams at "it's bright, but you really can't see as far" and the high beams at "I think they're broken".My absolute favorite part is after paying 2xs more that the price of regular new bulbs - I get to replace my headlights again, because the old ones were getting dim, and these are useless. So, I get to pay 3xs as much for a headlight bulb replacement, AND I'll probably have to take is somewhere to make sure they are adjusted correctly after trying to see well enough not to crash my vehicle until I can replace these shiny, well packaged, useless headlights.
