Holulo Organic Vapor Full Face Safety Respirator Mask Respiratory Protection Gas Masks Paint Chemical Formaldehyde Anti Virus Full w/Activated Carbon Respirator

We bought two of these for my husband and I to clean out and demo the inside of a house where there was a fire and the tenant was a hoarder and left the house totally disgusting. We did not want to breathe in chemicals and odor from the fire and from the (literally) dog crap and garbage that was all over the house and this worked perfectly! It fit both of us well and allowed us to work in the house for almost 2 weeks and we had no problems breathing. We ended up purchasing additional filters because I threw them away each day and put new ones in for the next day. We were really happy with these masks and did a great job in allowing us to breathe without inhaling the bad stuff.

Mask has a good seal and the straps are secure and easy to use. I'm a little concerned about the attachment points as the plastic is pretty thin but it looks like so long as they aren't abused it should be fine. Also one other nice surprise is that the mask came with a protective film on the face shield so you can use this for at least one disposable layer in a painting situation, but it would be nice to be able to buy extras.I wanted to write this review because many reviews say replacement filters are not available but it looks like a variety of replacement filters are now being sold addressing this issue. Additionally it looks like the base where the filters attach is actually connected to the mask using a standard bayonet style attachment that would work with 3M filters. That said the filter base has a one way security attachment (ramp and then a step that drops down so it can only be turned one way -- on) so I don't think it can be removed without destroying the included threaded attachment point.One downside but I'm not overly concerned is that the included filters are attached to the mask upon arrival and do not have any seal or cover other than the bag the whole mask comes in which was not totally sealed. The filters are dated and they are pretty new so I'm not concerned about them being expired (filters dated October 2017, I received this in Mid February 2018).The final issue I have with this is the filter ratings. As long as you aren't careless this shouldn't be an issue, but the filters are rated for many chemicals that nearly any other respirator would not be rated for. The filters may work for the substances listed but even 3M (which I would argue is the standard) would not recommend filters for many items on the list.Otherwise this seems like a good product for the price that works as designed.

I used the mask while I was melting metal for my hobby and it worked well. I could not smell any of the fumes. The mask fit well and adjusted easy. I have facial hair and I still got a good seal. The lens never fogged up during long periods of wearing it. My vision was clear and unobstructed. I could hear the check valve working but my breathing was not effected at all.

 I took a video when I opened the product and have been using it for remodeling of my home. It works great! I have asthma and am very sensitive to smells and this has helped me immensely. I have not had to use my rescue inhaler at all, just my daily controller. Granted, I have only used this for paint fumes, so am not sure how it works for stronger stuff. But for my purposes, it does the trick!

Used this mask for the first time today to do some plastidip task. I have used few other masks in past for paint related tasks and found this to be very good in comparison. I have a small face and wear glasses. I was able to wear the mask with my glasses on (with a bit of difficulty) and still get a good seal. Also, it doesn't fog inside, if you have a good seal. in case of partial seal I did notice some fogging. The filtering quality is great as I was doing the paint job when the air quality is bad is CA due to wildfires, and it was able to filter the air very well and couldn't smell neither the smoke or the paint.

So much better than wearing a cheap little mouth mask when I go into the attic. No more insulation dust. I'm not sure about replacement filters yet, but I see where someone could over tighten a filter and have a problem with the plastic filter threads...just be careful, I haven't had an issue with them yet, only time and use will tell.

I live in both the States and Canada so I've been using mostly M3 respirators and half or full face mask this thing does just as good a job it sits great on my face, I got a pretty big head. The only con is yeah kind of smells funny in the beginning but so do all other plastic or rubbery products that you just get but once that dissipates you're good to go for the price there's no way you can go wrong with this mask

Great product.I use this to rake away my dogs poops and i get alot of dust but with the mask I don't get and particles inside and don't smell anything.
