Audio-Technica ATR2x-USB 3.5mm to USB Audio Adapter (ATR Series)

Out of the box, this thing works as described to provide a mic and headphone connection via USB-C. How long it will work is a big question mark. For an Audio-Technica branded device, this thing feels very cheaply made. Makes me question how long it will last.

At first, this audio adapter seemed to work with some programs and not others. If you run into this problem, the issue is not with the Audio-Technica adapter; what you need to do is go into the preferences of the program and select the ATR2x-USB as the source mic instead of the default iMac mic. Once I had that figured out, I was very happy with the product.

There were tons of these type of USB audio adapters to choose from but I decided to go with a trusted name in audio and am very glad I did. This works perfectly with my MacBook Air.

Works like a charm and has opened new doors for recording with a variety of mics. Also for 3.5mm headphones for monitoring if that is the usage required.All in all, this is a well-made and highly effective adapter that I am so glad exists!
