I bought them two months ago to try and finally tried them out after seeing them in the drawer When looking for a new replacement blade. Unsure if others have experienced this but the regular Scan N Cut blade tend to dull out quickly for me. I think it’s because I use it for thicker items. Anyways, Reviews on this product was mixed so I thought what the hell, might as well give it a try. I solely use my scan n cut to cut vinyl fabric. Never used it for anything else but that. I’m amazed, these blades give out a clean cut. Took time to adjust the cut pressure etc. but wow even cuts cleaner than the regular Scan N cut blades, I thinking of just switching over possible forever. Check out the difference in the photos.

CAUTION! The shorter length is the manufacturers blade that came with my brother cutter and I have used for the last two years. I has been working perfectly with different pressures and depths. The longer one is this "new" two pack purchase from this company. I figured it would accommodate because it is specifically for my machine brand. It broke off the tip of the blade half way through a project leaving the most of the post suck in my blade holder and i cannot get the post out. You can see the tip that broke off laying to the right of the original blade and about the length of post that is now stuck in my blade holder. Was trying to finish up a project this weekend. I now have to wait and purchase a new blade holder.

These are not true Brother Blades, and I did have issues. I replaced my old blade with these and did not test cut first. I would recommend that you do that. I did contact the company, and while I had had the blades for several months prior to using them, they were very helpfu. My machine is a 250 and is the original scan n cut. It does not have all the bells and whistles that the newer ones do and as such, user error does come into play.
