Excellent and well worth it
I don't leave many reviews, but these are worth it. I was so sick of saying "I didn't bring my glasses", when I couldn't read the menu or info on an item at the grocery store. These hang on my keychain, so now, I start to say it and realize I did bring them. The case is small and unintrusive. The glasses actually sit on your nose, without ear pieces and are very comfortable. I love them. A great purchase!

great concept
These are pretty cool, especially if you tend to loose your glasses. They are great reading glasses, stay on your face, pretty well made. You can just attach right to your key chain no problem for easy carrying. reading with them is a breeze and they aren't really thick. They haven't scratched yet so thats good. Glad I found them, would suggest

Great to keep handy and out of the way
I admit it: I'm still in denial about needing readers, so I keep these in my pocket at all times rather than carry a pair of readers around. They are easy to use and stay on your nose with very little effort. Over time, they do get worn in the flexible nose piece, so you may want to consider getting a second pair for when they will eventually break (we're talking 2+ years with gentle use, maybe a year if you constantly have them on). I am frequently asked where I got them from by others who keep a pair of readers around their neck, on their head or in their shirt pocket. Give it a shot!

Great item!!
I just wanted to let you know that my husband loves these when he stops at the store, as he doesn't have to carry his readers around his neck. When he had his cataract surgery I had him get a toric lens needed in one eye, so for the first time in his life he doesn't have to wear glasses for his distance, just needs the readers for close up, and this Optics Keychain sure is working great for him!

For use in a pinch (and they do pinch!)
The form factor is super convenient. Having something that you need to read the fine print when your regular readers are not available is really helpful. The magnification power is close to other lenses with the same number. There are three problems that aren't bad enough to return it but are a sore spot at this price point.1) Be very careful putting the lenses back into the holder. It looks like the hook has engaged but when you start sliding the button back, they spring out into space if you are not careful. Practice this motion and use two hands.2) You think they are on tight, and a certain movement of your nose will cause them to fall off. I found this out while checking the oil on my truck. Fortunately, they didn't fall too deep or onto something hot in the engine. Lesson learned.3.) They have a sharp edge where it pinches your nose. I'm sure this was done to ameliorate Problem 2 but it makes for an uncomfortable experience. I don't think these were meant for more than a brief use though. It seems that these cost enough for the manufacturer to put a little more thought into it.Five stars on utility and sight quality. Three stars because they could be better. Buy them for what they are and don't expect too much.

Great readers and so convenient to carry
Very convenient to carry readers, I previously had a pair with the cellphone holder and I replaced my cellphone and then couldn’t reuse the holder case so I thought I would try the keychain case this time, I see well at distance and just need readers for occasional use tasks like reading a restaurant menu so these are really convenient when I am on the go and don’t want to keep up with a pair of full size glasses.

UPDATE: New nose piece and ThinOptics is sending replacement glasses
UPDATE: After this pair broke, I ended up buying the ThinOptics that come with the Universal Pod. Those glasses are different: the part that holds on to your nose is no longer the metal strips, it is plastic that is now attached at the top and bottom of the strip. They also did not look like the original glasses that came with the Keychain Case: the lens frames are a uniform thickness, where it looks like the Keychain glasses had a slight taper which would help them overlap when they fold up. I was hoping the Universal Pod ones would fit into the Keychain Case, but because of the difference I did not want to try it and end up ruining the new glasses. It is now 1 year after I bought the Universal Pod ThinOptics and they are still intact. I still miss being able to wear them around my neck, so I contacted ThinOptics through their website to see if I could just buy the glasses without the Keychain Case. They said if I send a picture of the broken ones then they would send a replacement at no cost. Luckily, I did still have them lying around for some reason, and after receiving the picture ThinOptics immediately sent out new, replacement glasses for free, not even a charge for shipping.I am now changing my previous 2 star rating to 5 stars. Will update if there are problems with the new glasses.UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I received the new replacements - they are the newer style and are exactly the same as the ones I have that came in the Universal Case with the plastic, attached at both ends nose-pieces. They also fit in the keychain case. I have them around my neck again and am a very happy customer :)----OLD REVIEW: I removed the keyring part, put a smaller ring on the case, and made a necklace with these. I also sanded off the logo. Because of that, they were incredibly convenient as a cool-looking necklace that I can wear when I leave the house.Other than that, the reviews are all true:- It takes some fiddling to get them to stay on your nose, but it is manageable. The best way is to bend them outwards and let them grab your nose - there were 2 places on my nose where they would stay on. They fall off if you wiggle your nose or sneeze.- The metal nose pieces broke off. The first one about a month after I bought them, the 2nd many months later. They are less comfortable and leave marks on your nose without them, but they are still usable.- They broke completely yesterday, the springy bridge part snapped into a few pieces.I did use them a lot while they lasted and now I'm deciding whether I want to replace them or just try something else. If they were cheaper I would just replace the glasses and still use with my case, but for $20 I might try something more comfortable and durable.
