What a huge difference than the old style. Works great with nice led lighting. Would recommend. Just measure from the top of tank to the bottom. Find the one that fits and presto, a great working fuel sending unit.

Easy install. Very clear directions. Works as it should. My sender was bad and for the extra few dollars I changed out both.

Works fantastic. I use it on a 73 vw beatle. So far seems to be working well. Only thing i would like is that the guage would be pre set for the fuel float instead of trying to figure out how to set it. Also that the wires would have female connectors instead of having to extend the wire by crimps. Other than that, easy install

The media could not be loaded. This is a great kit to add a real fuel gauge to your fuel tank.For me it was a huge upgrade for my lawn tractor which only had a rather worthless "sight window" which is just about impossible to use unless you had bright light on the back of the fuel tank and the fuel was within the visible window.The sender unit appears to be solid and of good quality with a sturdy mounting flange, I ordered the 4 inch version in a kit with the gauge which was the best option for my application.The gauge meter unit itself has bold graphics for easy no nonsense readability, the multi color backlight options are a great way to customize to suit your application and do a great job at night. I wired the backlight to the tractor headlight circuit so it comes on with the headlights - a nice touch but not necessary, you can of course wire it up to stay on all the time if you prefer. My kit did not come with the connector sealing plug as shown though.For those reviewers of this kit that complain of the gauge showing Full all the time - this fuel gauge meter is programmable for different types of senders, it might be worth making sure it is configured for the right sender. For me the default settings were correct.Overall, I very much like this kit, it is a little pricey, but if it lasts the life of my lawn tractor, it will be worth it, we'll see.Please not that I took extra care to prepare the nylon fuel tank surface to seal perfectly against the sender unit with the limited torque available from screws in nylon (I purchased special deep thread screws and did not use the machine screws provided), typically such nylon tanks are not perfectly flat nor is the surface texture conducive to a good seal even with the good quality gasket provided. This is less of an issue with metal fuel tanks. Think Safety. If in doubt, use a threaded split ring backer inside the tank.

Careful wiring this, it caused my wiring to go on fire. Dont follow the wiring diagram that comes with it. Follow the wiring instructions on line. You will notice the numerical ID referencing the wires is totally different between both diagrams.

I like custom measurements available for height of tank. Measured height of tank, ordered unit and installed. Now I can tell accurate fuel level.

Impressed. This sender and gauge have been in use for over six months. Compared to sender only items, this one includes a gauge. The led back light color can be changed to match the color of your other gauges. Standard mounting in the original gauge location with no modification. The gauge is accurate. Insure you follow the guide lines for measuring your tank before purchasing.
