If you know what you're doing with a sharpening stone, that will give you a better edge. However, if you're looking for a quick sharpening, something fast that put at least a decent back on a blade, this works very very well. It's quick and easy, and the blade is sharp again. That's why I got this. My wife noticed a difference on the kitchen knives I did right away.

Great little product to take camping with you. I’ve sharpened my knife a couple times with it and it works very well. It’s very small so it will fit in a little compartment in a backpack. I’d say this is a great buy if you’re an outdoors man who is looking for something to keep in their backpack while hiking through the woods or camping.

Not a fan of this type of sharpener. Bought it for two reasons. It was on sale and was rated as best sharpener on a website. And since it has multiple features decided to buy it. Having two sharpeners is a plus. It did a pretty decent job sharpening my Victorinox knives. And that is from someone one who is not adept at sharpening. I need more practice.The whistle did not work as well as expected. Maybe I was not holding my mouth right.

I just bought this to sharpen my mini–Swiss Army knife and it works great.

Only used it once so far but it did a great job. Love that it’s small enough to keep in the pocket of my toolbag vs the ones you see at the hardware store.

Serves its purpose very well for 10 dollars

Have sharpened a couple of pocket knives already and carry this in my bag. Will be taking this camping next weekend. Not sure it'll last, though.Will edit review as needed.

Very good product. Boyfriend tested it on his pocketknife and it definitely worked better than we thought it would! I recommend. It’s small and easy to use.
