Works good to stand from bed or chair. It is wobbly but doesn't effect use. I see reviews that it folds. Mine doesn't fold. There is one on Amazon that does & the cost is higher but this one doesn't. It is very lightweight.

Purchased to help an elderly relative get up from couch. Super wobbly. It collapsed underneath him as he tried to stand. Do not buy!!!!

Wanted to use this on our shower bench but it’s very wobbly and could be dangerous.

Works for hard surface chairs but if a person tries to use on a padded chair it feels unsteady and wiggles. Also the back brace presses into the lower back. I wrapped a piece of pool noodle around it for my brother.

It works exactly as promised. It is perfect and when my back acts up I can easily get up from the couch (which is a low couch) without the help of my husband. I was so surprised that something that is priced so low could work so great! When my back goes out this product will change everything for me. I recommend this well made and well priced product. Back issues can really change your life and this wonderful product will change your life for the better. I hardly ever review products but I would be remiss if I didn't let other people who are hurting not know about this item! I ORDERED A SECOND ONE. Helps the elderly get up independently with weak legs

This really helped my mom get up from recliner and sofa at her home and easily folds up to take to sister's home and feel independent getting up from that sofa too.
