Checks ALL of my boxes for a great wallet!
The media could not be loaded. Let me begin by saying, I have very specific considerations for a wallet - RFID, slim, “adult” looking, holds all of the cards and cash I carry, will NOT allow cards to slip out, no matter how it’s oriented or shaken. I had a slim bifold leather wallet where the card slots were oriented to the center of the wallet when it was closed, so cards could not slip out. That wallet became broken down over years. It still functioned perfectly, but looked a bit lumpy. I then discovered that that company didn’t offer the same wallet any more. Thus began the hunt for a new wallet. I tried two bifold wallets with magnetic closure by another brand and was disappointed by the “magnetic” edges which weren’t strong enough to keep the wallet closed and the cards in it. THIS wallet is perfect. I carry a total of nine cards (DL, credit cards, others) and a small amount of cash. The magnets on this wallet hold it closed WELL! Recently I carried a public transportation metro card in my wallet while traveling. I was able to add it to the inside sleeve, have the magnetic closure still work effortlessly, and leave the card in the sleeve, open the wallet to place it flat on the metro scanner, and it scanned perfectly. (It did not scan if the wallet was closed, because of the RFID blocking material). In short, it holds my usual stuff easily, has some capacity for at least one more card, and the magnetic closure works perfectly on the bifold aspect of the wallet, ensuring cards cannot slip out, no matter the wallet’s orientation or how aggressively it is shaken or dropped. Nice and slim. Well made. Outside sleeves work perfectly and the magnetic closure works perfectly there as well.

Leather double credit card container with money clip.
I've bought several wallets that contain credit card containers. I used one that wrapped everything in leather a lot but it still felt like a brick in my pocket. I saw adverts for this wallet several times and ignored it because I was convinced the credit card containers was the best alternative. Problem is, my credit cards started falling out of the credit card containers. Suddenly, I'm finding lose credit cards in my pockets, and occasionally picking them up from the floor. This wallet is a double credit card container made of leather instead of metal, it's soft and thin.

A relatively well designed minimalist bi-fold wallet
Scroll to the bottom if you only want to read the highlights, otherwise I hope you find my full review helpful. I was looking for something to downsize from my traditional tri-fold wallet and found this simply by searching on Amazon.Construction:The leather is extremely soft to touch right out the box which makes it comfortable to hold and carry. The wallet is roughy 4.2"x2.75" [107mm x 70mm]. The Distil Union logo is stamped into the lower right hand corner of one of the sides. The tabs are nylon and are stitched into the liner of the inner flaps. There is a red tab and brown tab which helps distinguish the two sides of the wallet and makes it easier to keep your cards straight. The metal bill fold slides into a slot in the center of the wallet and feels pretty secure.Function:The description notes that the wallet can hold up to 12 cards (6 per side). I found that if you really wanted to you could fit another in each, but I wouldn't because you start to stretch the wallet at the seam which may weaken it over time. With 12 cards and 8 USD sized bills, the wallet was just under .75" [19mm] thick. With no cash inside it was about .63" [16mm] thick. That was less than half of my old tri-fold wallet at the same capacity, which was a huge plus for me. It no longer hurt to wear my wallet while sitting for long periods of time. The small profile also allows it to fit easily into just about any pocket (front, back, jeans, slacks, shorts etc.). One trade off of the small size is that the bill fold is only really capable of carrying US dollars without anything sticking out. If you get a wide receipt and want to keep it in your wallet, you'll have to fold it first. Not a big deal but something you may want to be aware of. There is a European version of the wallet that is larger to accomodate euros/pound notes so that could be an option if you anticipate needing to carry receipts often.I did a couple very non-scientific shake tests on the wallet just to see how well it held onto cards and cash. Initially I did one card in each sleeve followed by 6 cards in each sleeve. When I shook the wallet, card opening face down, I found that after a few "good shakes" cards started to come out. I re-did the test a couple weeks later and found that the leather had stretched out over time and the single cards would fall right out when the wallet was turned over. This is to be expected given the softness of the leather, and in reality I don't know how often I'd find myself in a situation where something can shake my whole body enough to cause cards to fly out. In the end it's best that you are consistent with the number of cards you carry and the orientation you carry your wallet. Once you put 5 cards in per side consistently, you probably shouldn't switch down to 2 cards a side as the leather will have stretched to accommodate the cards over time. The bill fold held onto both 1 and 8 bills under some pretty rigorous shaking, I wouldn't worry about cash ever falling out.Pros-Good looking, soft leather-Slim profile-Comfortable to carry in any garment-Colored tabs make for easy organizationCons-May lose cards if the wallet is shaken or is holding significantly less cards than normal-Height and depth are sized exactly to a dollar bill, receipts require foldingOverall, I am happy with this wallet and would certainly purchase it again, based on it's initial quality. It has been a welcomed change from my bulky tri-fold with very little lost in storage capacity. I give the product four stars as it met nearly all my expectations with only a few potential drawbacks as mentioned above.UPDATE 26MAY2015:The wallet outer lining has begun to peel away where the it bends at the money clip. I'm not sure if the money clip has pushed against the liner causing it to come unglued. From what I can tell this should fall under the product warranty. I've contacted customer service and will update again on the result.

Best wallet!
Took the contents of my previous full-grain cowhide wallet and compressed them to just 1/3rd the size. Love this wallet so much, I want to give them as gifts to everyone I know, but wallets are a very personal thing, so hard to buy as gifts. If there's one that would work, though, it's this one or their next generation wallet with the magnets. My cards never fall out, and are always just a tab-pull away!

Everything as advertised
Everything as advertised. An excellent multi function wallet that handles cards and cash. I stuffed it with 3 more cards than designed with ease because the wallet stretches and molds like leather would. Access is easy

Worth the money
It's the best wallet I've ever owned, and I've owned them all. Inserting and removing cards is super easy, and the materials are high-quality.
