Wind for days
Honestly, I love it. I find myself winding up my yarn more often than I should. Something about it is therapeutic. It's easy to use, although sometimes the yarn arm flops down. Can be a bit fiddly to tighten, but barely. Would definitely buy again just for the winder! The scissors that come with it are kinda dull, but it does the job well enough, just keep your yarn tight to decrease the fraying.

I love the way the ball looks when done
The first one came cracked but was replaced quickly. The yarn slips under the spool and tangles very easily. The clamp does not open very wide making it difficult to find somewhere to secure it.

Definitely worth it!
This simple little winder is making my crochet hobby a lot more enjoyable! I am working on a square with 8 colors of cotton aran yarn, with frequent color changes. Normally I use a yarn dispenser, but for this project that became a hassle. By using this yarn winder to pull from my yarn dispenser, I had the skeins caked up in no time. Now I can easily switch from one color to the next with no tangles. The pom pom makers are a nice little bonus. I have not tried them yet. The little scissors are useless (as usual). Great purchase overall.

wasn’t sure if I needed this item or if it was much better than hand balling it. but this has been one of my beat purchases! If you’re on the fence, get it!! it’s amazing and I love it. I use it all the time and recently cleaned up my whole stash. my stash is now super easy and accessible. it’s pretty study for the price and does the job well!

Just what I needed
I am enjoying this yarn winder very much! I do sort of wish I had gotten one that could handle large skeins, but I mostly use it for winding up the ends of skeins that are starting to tangle. Great purchase.

not the best..
The scissors dont work very well, i have a lot of trouble winding my yarn because it always comes out weird looking. prefer my yarn picks winder.
