This mattress cover fit perfectly on the daybed mattress I have. It's very soft and comfortable, too.

Perfect material and fit

I ordered several different types of mattress pads. It is going on a twin bed with an egg crate foam topper. Even though I worry about night time accidents from grandchildren, I did not get a mattress pad that was "water proof". This fit my bed and seems soft. I have not tried it yet. I really have no comment good or bad.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this mattress pad. By way of background, I wanted a regular mattress pad. Not a waterproof pad. Not a barrier pad. Just a regular mattress pad. What I discovered is that finding a decent, regular mattress pad is not as easy as it should be. And the ones I found (prior to this one) seemed way too expensive for what they were. Then I saw this one on Amazon, and for a reasonable price ($29.99 for the King), and decided to take a chance. I am very glad that I did.This is a great mattress pad. We love it. It has nice deep pockets, so there is no trouble affixing it to the bed. The surface is soft and plush, and doesn't feel synthetic. It feels cottony soft. I'm not sure that I would say that it is a "down alternative," but I don't really care because it feels great.Before putting it on the bed for the first time, we washed and dried it (in machines) and it came out exactly as it had gone in. No change. (I mention this because, from what I've read, some mattress pads don't hold up well in the heat of a dryer.)Overall, I would recommend this mattress pad highly. Even at a higher price, it would still be a good deal, so at $29.99 it feels almost like a steal (compared to everything else that's out there).

I ordered this product blind, since there was no image provided by the seller or reviews to go by (mine is the first review and I am uploading images). Reading the description which said, "Wow! I thought it was real down... That's what our customers say on this one... Very soft & cushiony enough to add some extra comfort, while protecting your mattress of dust, dirt & dander," I was hoping for more, but I should have known better by the price alone.This was not even CLOSE to down in feel. It's like every other mattress pad you see for a similar price at Walmart or Kmart. It is SOFT, but not cushiony. It would protect your mattress to a degree from dust, dirt & dander if that is what you need it for. I personally wanted a little extra comfort for my bed. This pad did not provide it.Would I recommend this product to others? That depends. If you want an inexpensive pad to protect their mattress from everyday wear and tear, then this would fit the bill. It you want something closer to a pillow top, look somewhere else. You can't get that for $24.99.Because I have Amazon Prime, this shipped for free and I did not have to pay tax or drive to the store to buy it. That is a plus, but if I didn't have Amazon Prime, I would have had to buy something else that qualifies for Free Super Saver Shipping because this pad is off by ONE CENT from the $25.00 required. I think the seller thinks that price makes it look better, but I know it is SO frustrating having to buy some random picture frame or cheap jump drive because you want the free shipping. SELLER! Put the penny back on the price. I believe you would sell more.

It worked well for what I needed.

I love this pad! It fits well and is easy to put on my mattress. I have a 10" pillow top mattress that has a deeply quilted surface. I can feel those bumps while laying on it unless I have a thick mattress pad on top of it. I already have a mattress cover for dustmites on my bed, so this one was needed to smooth out the surface and make it more comfortable. It does that in spades. It doesn't seem all that thick, but the loft is enough to correct that issue. It is very well made and a bargain at this price. It feels very soft and comfortable under my sheets and I never want to get out of bed! I'm sure it would fit on a thicker mattress or even a thinner one. It is just like a fitted sheet, so you might end up with more or less fabric under the mattress, but it will fit without leaving excess fabric at the sides. It is 100% polyester, fits in a top loading washing machine without overstuffing it, it will not shrink. I washed and dried it before I put it on the bed and it came out looking just like when it went in. I have not noticed any difference in sleeping temperature since I put it on.

Edit 2/2016: After a few washes, the padding disappeared from everywhere but the very edges, and now it's basically just a fitted sheet. This actually happened just a few washes after I've bought it. It's also started to rip at the seams where it fits around the bed after about 2 years. I've reduced the score to 3 stars as a result of the padding loss. Old initial review is below.I needed a new mattress pad, as my old one was falling apart. I also didn't want to spend 50 dollars on a pad. My old one was basically just a sheet, and this one has cushioning. Oh man, if you never had a cushioned mattress pad you don't know what you're missing. It's like the bed is hugging you, a fantastic feeling.When it arrived it smelled strongly of factory. I washed it once, which took away about 50% of the smell, then again, which took away an additional 20% of the smell. Drying it seemed to help the most, and it got rid of most the remaining smell. By about the 3rd time it needed washing, the smell was gone. It basically just needs aired out after opening it from the packaging, and using it in the course of bed laundry loads will take care of the smell.It stretches easily to fit my bed, so it's not a pain to put on. The only issue I have with it is that after a few washings/uses it lost much of its cushioning where I sleep. Perhaps the filling was displaced. There are more puffy mattress pads on the market, so if you like puff perhaps get one of those to try, so when the puff wears you still have some left.Overall it works, wasn't super expensive, and adds comfort.

The mattress is firm enough and should last awhile for occasional sleeping. Hard to secure with latches once folded. Moves easily for storage. Mattress looks waterproof. The cot makes noises when you move around. Perfect for the short term visitor.

I have been waiting to get one of these forever. I got a new expensive mattress (and being a female, I couldn't bare the idea of having a monthly accident on my new bed and destroy it!) I was looking around for a while trying to find a decent price for quality. I was a little apprehensive about buying this online, but it worked out great!I would give this a 4.5 star. It washes great, fit nicely around my mattress (no slipping) and it's quite comfy. Shipped very quick! Only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is it maybe could be a little thicker, but for this price, it's 100% worth it. I will buy again in the future.

I am so happy with this mattress cover. You can tell that the quality is very good, the seams are strong and will last, and the overall stitching is tight. It fit my mattress perfectly, and has given me some added comfort while sleeping.
