Sort of works
I used this to be able to look at my trail cam micro SD cards. Trail cams are set up to do 3 pictures then a 3 min video.It initially didn't work. I have a battery case. (Alpatronix brand). Once I removed the case it does work.It only allows me to look at pictures, the videos don't play. Not sure what I may be doing wrong.Works about as well as my desktop computer except for the video

I was not sure about these things but after I bought one I bought 3 more one for each car I have and one for granddaughter. It's simple to use as I found a video on YouTube that explains how to play a video off your car dash cam. I have a Vantrue dash cam in our cars and this is the way to be able to play a video for law enforcement if necessary. Looking at a mini screen on the dash cam itself is not going to easy to pick our details so us you iPhone to display a much clearer and larger video. Also you can charge you iPhone at the same time if battery is low when in need to play a video. Well worth the money.
