These have higher load rating for their size, but are less tolerant of misalignment of the inner and outer races. These rigid, non-separable radial bearings comprise of the inner race, outer race, balls and cage, where the inner and outer race have deep grooves within which the balls move. The groove radii are slightly greater than the ball radii. This geometry of the grooves makes the high radial and axial load bearing capacities, and also for combined loads.
