It really looks nice in my family room.

I read all the reviews on this product before purchasing it, and even though I needed two, I only ordered one to start because of the mixed reviews on the color/paint. When I received the first one I could see why people would either love or hate the paint, it's very decorative and even has gold glitter/sparkles on it. Personally I love it and the color suits our mid-century modern house perfectly, however it would not go as well in a more traditional style home. I ended up going ahead and ordering a second one for the other side of our double-sided fireplace.The only adjustment we had to make to the grates were to cut the legs off. Even though they worked fine with them on, the first time we lit a fire our cat crawled under the grate, through the crack, and was standing right next to the fire checking it out (which is why they say "curiosity killed the cat"). The bolts are welded on but we were able to loosen them enough to get my husbands sawzaw blade in the grove to cut them off. Then I used 3M velcro tabs to get the grates to attach to the bricks. It works perfectly and it's still just as easy to move away to light a fire.We LOVE the grates and we have received tons of compliments on them, especially when the fire is lit because the sparkles on the paint shimmer in the light of the flame and it's so pretty. I would definitely recommend this product.

We got this to keep our kitty 😺 out of the fireplace, hes full of shenanigans.Love the pattern and how simple the legs can be moved to any position. The size is perfect and the weight doesn't really allpw him to mpve it.However, the gold is a little more vibrant than I was hoping, although beautiful and the paint flakes off and gets all over my kitty who rubs against it. Whoch isn't good for him to ingest. So that's a little of a bummer. But, simple fix and worth it, especially for the price. Just a little sandpaper and clear bonding and I'll be good to go. ✌️😄

I have a bed placed diagonally in front of a corner, and I needed something behind it to take up the awkward empty space. With a midcentury tropical-themed bedroom, this fits the bill perfectly. It does stand well on its own, but this is not the type of room divider you want to hang anything from. When setting the unit up, the palm leaf cutouts can be bent easily if not handled with care. If you need to put up and fold away your room divider often, this might not be the best option. But if you leave it in place for decorative purposes, you will not be disappointed with this stunning item!

I sent this back instantly. The gold spray paint - which I was not counting on - was uneven, flakey and looked like it had been done by a child. The product was poorly welded and looked so cheap. It looked nothing in person like it does in pictures.

It comes assembled which is fantastic you literally just pull it out of the box and it’s good to go. It’s a beautiful finish too and unique. It’s sturdy. I use it as a subtle room divider in my apartment and have a three tiered plant stand just behind it.

Great product, good quality.

First one came to the house in pieces, with a large dent that totally warped the frame. The second one shipped promptly. The second screen still has some minor warping that I was able to fix with some bending. The finish is cheap and tacky/sticky, smells like paint, and not exactly high end or done to any extreme detail. Looks nice in our room... for the price it's fine. Do not use this in front of an active fireplace (if that much isn't clear) as the coating just paint and glue — not safe for extreme heat; decorative only.
