Emeril EverydayLagasse Kitchen Cookware, Forever Pans, Pots and Pans Set with Lids, Hard-Anodized Nonstick, Black (13 Piece Set)

This cookware looks great and heats up quick. The claims on tv do not hold up to actual use. I followed the instructions on proper set up and tried a recipe out of the book that came with it. (By the way it comes with a fantastic recipe book). The utensils that came with it carved large gouges in the bottom of the pan. I was quite surprised how easy it was scratched compared to what was shown on tv. If you did purchase these pans and waiting for them, they are very nice but absolutely do not use metal utensils (even the ones that come with it). If you follow that rule you will probably enjoy them. Mostly I’m pretty surprised Emeril make such claims on tv on what the pan is capable of.

Had these pans for less than 90 days and the 10 in frying pans non stick coating started to peeling

I got my first set of Emeril cookware 17 years ago (thankful I held on to a few pieces but sadly not all of it 😭) I received this set December of 2022, and they’re horrible. My lids have shattered for no reason. I was cooking and set the lid to the side and it shattered, and all pots and pans scratch with the utensils provided and have began to rust where they were scratched. I reached out to Emeril customer service and they want me to pay shipping and handling on each piece that’s damaged and send the other pieces back. So in other words, be super inconvenienced, and spend a ton more money on what I already bought that wasn’t worth it. Things aren’t made like they used to be, and IF you but this set, don’t use the metal utensils provided, no matter how much they say it’s going to be ok, it’s not ok! Sadly after less than a year this set is going in the trash. I will never buy Emeril again and that’s sad, because I raved about it for 17 years.

This product is not scratch proof. Skillet is starting to show scratch marks. Misleading advertising on durability. Like the set but need better quality.

I purchased the set based on the commercial saying that metal utensils would not hurt it, and planned that I would be able to whip potatoes in the stockpot when I make them. However, the first time I used the fry pan with the metal spoon that was shipped with the set, the spoon gouged the non-stick surface in several places, even though I was only stirring with it. I still enjoy using the pans; they are heavy and of good quality, but will use plastic utensils in the future. Whipped potatoes will be made in one of my old stainless steel pans.

Obviously I like the looks and it is heavy. Almost as heavy as an iron skillet. Cooked a roast the other night in the in the oven and it turned very nice.

I LOVE Emeril Lagasse Cookware, this is my second set I have bought in the past few years. Merry Christmas to me! :)

The first time the pan was used to thaw and cook ground beef, the bottom of the pan scratched while using the utensils that were sent along with the pan set. No repairing this pan, damaged for ever.
