Fantastic stove - quality and value! Long term review
The media could not be loaded. I used this for a summer of camping, and it has held up well. It's so satisfying to have a full stove, in a TINY footprint, at the camp site. Makes cooking cheap while camping. This is such a high quality machine: easy to clean, and very nice flame control that easily ramps down without going out. Very nice for simmering/ etc.But it's not as hot as other stoves, just 7,000 ish BTUs, so you will notice it's not as hot as your stove at home. It benefits from using the included case as a wind shield.I'd recommend this one-stove setup to anyone. It's so compact and low cost, and beautifully engineered, I love it.Note: it's possible to store the propane hose inside the stove, but it's a pain to tuck inside. Normally I just put the propane hose in my cooking box - I hope future designs include propane hose storage, and for this reason, the compact Butane fuel containers are more convenient, but wasteful. If you're on the fence between PROPANE and BUTATNE - GET BOTH. This is very handy to have. I would NOT recommend butane-only stoves because it's harder to find in all stores, more expensive, and the cans run out quickly becoming very wasteful. I went to home depot 5 times before they restocked Butane, it's always sold out. And they don't hold much energy; Butane cans run out in just an evening or two of boiling water. So I recommend propane which is much cheaper, creates less garbage, and more available at any store. Also butane straight up doesn't work when it's cold, but propane does.

THIS IS A GOOD STOVE!
Pleasantly surprised when I received this stove. I chose it because of the dual fuel capability. A lot of times the butane canisters are just not available on a trip. Also, they can't be shipped from Amazon into California. But I can always find regular propane cans just about ANYWHERE.The stove seems to be very good quality. So far, it's only taken one spark from the lighter ea. time to light it. Instructions are easy to follow. Flame is easy to regulate, right down to a simmer. I've had experience with big Coleman stoves right down to the little Butane only pocket stoves & I can see that a wind break will be nec. in a breeze. No sweat, just pile up anything handy to block the wind.Since I've just got it, I haven't cooked yet, but I've boiled up a couple of pots of camp coffee just to make sure it works. Both Butane and Propane produce a clean, steady, controllable flame. Boil time would depend on how high you adjust the flame.By fiddling around, I can get the propane adapter hose & regulator to fit inside the stove for packing. The instructions said something about putting the pot grate thing upside down for packing. I don't know, but I found the stove fits fine in the carry case (with hose inside stove),with the cover/ pan-grate just in the normal position.Just so you know, The stove won't fit in the carry case with a butane canister in place. You have to take it out.All parts & controls have a good, well made feel & appearance is one that says quality. I'm extremely happy with this stove & nobody promised me anything for a good review. I just want to let you know what I think.

Nice stove, great flame control, terrible propane hose
I have had this now for a couple of months and used it several time with propane only. It is replacing a liquid fuel camp stove that only had 2 settings, off and thermonuclear. Overall I am quite happy with this stove running propane. The flame control is excellent, the heat is adequate (its not a turkey fryer burner) but it gets the job done for camping. You will probably want to make/use a windscreen of some kind if it is even a little breezy. My biggest issue is the hose that is provided for the propane attachment is unbelievable stiff and inflexible, and is much much worse if it is close to or below freezing outside. It gets the job done for delivering fuel to the stove but that is about it, you will just have to be fine with placing the propane bottle in whatever orientation and distance from the stove that the hose dictates. Also it is basically impossible to store the hose inside the provided case, which is a bummer, you just have to make sure you don't leave home without it. But as far as the stove and burner goes, it works well so far, I am glad I have it.

So small but really does the job quicker than bigger one's
I don't usually give reviews but having been a camper for over 50 years I wanted to give this stove top billing over even some of the heavy duty Coleman and other modelsover the decades of other models...including a STERNO BRANDED stainless steel model that looks strangely familiar to this GAS ONE's bigger brother. The 800 p mini actually is pretty amazing it actually has more BTU output than a full-size model and it has a windscreen around the burner to help it not go out like a recent model I just purchased for the same price or higher. .Kudos to Gas One for building such a nice, small, well built and sexy looking model with both propane and butane, since butane now is not allowed in California due to new laws as of July 2019 If you live or recreation in California you want this model with dual propane butane use so that you'll always find fuel anytime , out here It'll be a joy to use again and again and the flame seems to be much stronger than even bigger models, that I own, but at a higher price. I did check two other models( bought them but returned them both) this puts out more even in the butane mode, but haven't tried propane yet. Great product, great size... thanks
