Mounting Holes ACTUALLY DO Align
Update:My mistake and my apologies!!!I ordered, received, measured, and returned the windshield. I thought I'd try again and attempt to dremel the proper holes, if needed. Received the 2nd windshield, measured it, holes are off. I removed my original windshield, compared it with the new one, and they're a perfect match!! Perhaps the bend fooled me. Great product; great material, fit, look, etc. Replaceable original in 10 mins. Get this one! This windshield is a beautiful piece for my 2023 HD Street Glide Special (FLHXS). Well made; good, solid materials; great looking. HOWEVER, the two outer screw holes are both about a half inch (too narrow) out of alignment. The product info listed in the description says it should fit. Returned.I bought a 2nd one, thinking perhaps others' piece fit, maybe I received one with a mistake. Nope. This item DOES NOT FIT the hole pattern on the windshield of a 2023 Street Glide Special (FLHXS). I'll try to make new holes without wrecking it.

Better than expected for price
Fits perfect. Just enough height that I wanted from stock. Came packaged well.

Can’t beat it (for the price)
First let me start off saying I own a 7" Harley Windshield ($150) and a Klock Werks 10.5" ($180), so that’s $330 wrapped up in windshields and still wasn’t completely satisfied. I don’t like the look of the 10.5" but when I use the stock seat on my CVO limited that is the only windshield that provides great protection. Point being I took a chance on one of these to try out different sizes since I run 3 different seats, solo, 2-up with sissy bar and the stock seat for 2-up with the tour pack installed. All 3 seats are slightly different in height and position which means I needed windshields for each of them. I figured for $20 I could buy every size I didn’t have and try them all for about $80 instead of probably over $1000 and once I found the sizes I wanted I would order that size in a Klock Werks or Harley-Davidson brand. To my surprise these aren’t bad at all and I now own every size in smoked, black and 2 in clear. Do they scratch more easily then the others? About the same as the Harley, more than the Klock Werks, but the scratches can be buffed out just as easy with plastic windshield polish (https://www.amazon.com/Novus-7100-Plastic-Polish-Kit/dp/B002UCYRZU/ref=sr_1_5?crid=11U5XYUKU9OR2&dchild=1&keywords=plastic+windshield+polish+and+scratch+remover&qid=1625922245&sprefix=Plastic+windshield+%2Caps%2C173&sr=8-5). I would say the thickness is actually more than the other 2 more expensive brands but pretty close. I have no issues with the fit of any of them nor have I had any quality issues. The one thing I do and this goes for the other brands too is I Dremel out the 2 side holes so I can change windshields without removing any of the screws. Once you tighten down the bolts it isn’t going anywhere so I think the design of these is overkill on the holes, my opinion, may not be yours. No matter what the product someone, somewhere always finds a way to screw it up and blame the product and write a bad review. "The windshield flew off going down the highway!" Thats operator issues I would guarantee it. So my review is this, if you are looking for one windshield and you know what size you need and have the budget for a brand name, go for it. If you are like me and want MANY options in sizes and colors or want to test out a few sizes for the price you can’t go wrong. There are always people out there who buy a $20 windshield and expect a $200 windshield and will bash the $20 one. I’ll put it this way if this windshield is only worth $20 then the Harley and Klock Werks are only worth $30-$50 depending on size. If in fact you believe the Big name brands are worth their $150-$180 price tag then these are worth $120-$140. There is NOT that much of a difference to warrant that much of a price difference. I could replace my windshield every spring for the next 9 years and have spent less than 1 Klock Werks windshield. I’ve been running these for a year now and they still look great so there is no need to replace them that often if ever.

17 Ultra Classic Motor Trike loves the 10" shield
Replaced the Stock clear shield (Ultra Classic 2017) that had about an 8" vertical rise with this 10", thinking it would be the same or taller, maybe a bit harder to see over it... BUT .. Its about an inch shorter and at 6'2" I can see over just fine. I thought the curve at the top was a bit wimpy, not much pf a bend there. Test drove it up to 70 MPH and it works REALLY well deflecting the air up and over. NO complaints. I have the black lower triple tree wind deflector (Amazon) And DK Custom's air deflection wings installed to force air down on the engine, but I still had quite a bit of buffeting. This shield cut the buffeting to 1/4 or less. I can hear the (stock) Boom speakers now, minimal air in my face. That small curve is badass! I'm happy I didn't go for a taller one (in my line of sight). The tint matches the stock faring wings and the trike looks way better. The small shield extensions on the left and right sides (bottom) might be helping with the buffeting too. I have 13" Burley Bagger Bars and the shield just fits ( about 1/32" clearance) as the bars are up (forward) pretty high ("max" prpbably). Others say it may scratch pretty easy, but I don't think I'd notice, not looking through it at all. Install was 5 minutes, no issues at all. Would buy again/ recommend.

Good value
Good quality. Requires a bit of manipulating due to the mounting holes being a bit off but not bad at all

Optics not good :(
Had high hopes for this windshield. Was looking for something a bit taller than my 8.5" Klockwerks for running the interestate down to Daytona in a month. Also didn't want to spend another couple hundred bucks on another Klockwerks. Got this 10" and was initially very happy. Looked great on the bike, fit on easily along with the 3 pouch windshield bag. And then I went for a ride. The height was about right and generally saw over the top of the windshield as expected. When it came to looking at things a little closer though - where I had to look THROUGH the windshield - like a low speed turn at a stoplight or something? Looking through the plastic was just so distorted that it made it almost.. Ugh. I'm returning this. I am good having a few different sizes/shades for various needs and times, but I don't see ever putting this back on for any reason. That said, if you were just getting a shorter version and really did NOT have to look through it at any time, you would have a GREAT value. It's a good weight - it is solid thickness and should hold up under highway speeds. It did fit well. Just suggest sticking with a shorter "don't have to look through it - ever" height.
