Excellent fixture, very happy with it.
As others have commented this is a very nice light fixture, especially for the money, we got the 48" model (actually 47.25"x10"). The process to put it up requires patients, the instructions are garbage but if you're comfortable putting up any other normal ceiling fixture it's very straightforward. It is time consuming, I'm guessing it took me about 2-3 hours with the majority of that time just unwrapping and hanging the crystals. For the hangers that are attached to the base in individual bags the easiest way to open the bags is the put the seam in between your thumb and pointer finger and slide it open, that opened them right up, when I started trying to open them like a normal zip lock pulling it open it would have taken forever. I put the fixture up then attached all the crystals which made it much easier to handle the base. The wiring looks like it's well done. Wear gloves the entire time you handle the fixture and crystals or you'll spend a lot of time cleaning fingerprints up after and you will see them if you don't clean them. Be very careful with attaching the crystals, you don't want to have to pull the base back down and fix the hangers once you've got the crystals on it, they don't seem to be fragile but be careful. Honestly I'd probably buy another one and start over before I took it down and tried to put it up again once the crystals are all on it. I also appreciated they fact everything was very well packaged and they provided extra's of just about every piece in the event anything happened while putting it together. Again not hard to put together just time consuming, but absolutely worth it. If you're interested in something like it, buy it, you'll love it.

Beautiful and bright if you add low watt LEDs. Not an east install for DIYers. Be patient and have help.
first, this light is beautiful. It works well over longer tables and spaces. It comes with incandescent light bulbs which weren’t very bright so I replaced them with 5 watt LED bulbs and now this fixture is very bright. With the brighter LEDs, it’s bright enough to do homework by but we tend to leave it halfway for dinner.Installing wasn’t easy. If you aren’t experienced installing light fixtures, definitely get a professional. If you are experienced, get two helpers if possible due to the length of the fixture. The box came with lots of extras. The fixture hangs from four wires which were plenty long and very easy to adjust to level the fixture. The box also came with extra crystals and extra wire fittings to hold them all together. The crystal are assembled but you must tighten up every connection carefully as you unwrap them as some are loosely connected and will come apart. I broke one crystal, shattering it on the floor before I noticed how loose they were. Good thing there are extra crystals. I also placed a thick rug under me after that so if I dropped anything I’d be less likely to break another one.there is also a white cotton glove in the box for handling the crystals without getting them dirty. I recommend using it even if you hand doesn’t quite fit, my hands are gigantic and I squeezed them onto at least my fingers. If not use gloves to not get fingerprints all over the crystals. While holding the fixture be very careful not to damage the tiny eye hooks on the bottom of the fixture that the crystals hang from. My helpers damaged some of them squishing them up against the metal. I was able to reopen some of the tiny eye hooks with needle nose pliers, but two of them were snapped off completely. Using a fine drill bit and an abundance of patience, I was able to drill out the little stubs of wire and replace the original eye hooks with extra wire hangers I found in the box. The wire hangers I used were extra globe hooks I trimmed short and squeezed into the hole. Worked perfectly as a replacement. Holds the weight of the crystals and unnoticeable. However, far better to avoid damaging those eye hooks in the first place. You can level the fixture pretty well with the little locks at the top of each of the four supporting wires. It’s a little tricky because your helpers need to hold the fixture up while you adjust the height. We decided to hang the light up a little higher and so we had quite a bit of wire inside the ceiling fixture cap. The wires are very hard to cut you’d need a metal shear probably, I rolled the ends up and secured them inside the ceiling cap.its a tight fit and required patience to get everything in and secured. If I had one complaint, it’s regarding the bolt that holds it to the junction box. If your box isn’t lined up right, it may need adjustment because the method Siljoy uses requires screwing a bar into the junction box. The bar has two bolts that point downward. The fixture ceiling cap fits over those bolts and is secured using to cap nuts. It looks nice when done, but my junction box was about five degrees off center requiring me to adjust it. Which is a huge pain. Would be nice if the bar was adjustable so you could more easily line up the fixture with the room. I was able to rotate my box almost perfect and used the wire length locks to slightly twist the light the last one degree. My end result looks perfect, but I know the fixture ceiling cap and the light are technically a degree off from each other. If the box were more “off” I’d have had to call an electrician to correct the box. Also, you should check that your junction box is secured properly to hold any weight. Mine is tied in to a beam, if your isn’t you can hang theirs fixture from the Sheetrock using some alternate hanging hardware included in the box. Again, if you are not sure how that works, hire someone. It took a while to hang all the crystals. Work from the center out so you don’t jostle the hanging crystals and put something soft under you so if anything does drop, it won’t shatter. There are extra wire fittings for crystals and extra crystals in the box. Oddly, there were a dozen extra globe crystals but only two extra rectangle crystals. For years we just had a small ugly fixture in the dining room. This chandelier makes the space warm and welcoming. My wife and I love the modern, clean lines and bright, warm light.

Light is beautiful but pain to install
This light is beautiful but we had such a hard time installing it. The mount is welded on to the bracket and the intended place to screw it in to the box was too wide, so we had to place it in a different spot which made it a little uneven. I wish it was perfectly centered but we made it work. The other issue we had was with the wire strings. There’s a tiny plastic that holds it in place when you want to stop it at the correct height. 3 out of the 4 plastic pieces broke off at the exact spot we want it to stay, so one of the strings won’t hold making it impossible to get it exactly level at the height we want it at.Easy tips when installing the crystals:For the crystal balls:Install the inside tear drops first. On the inside there should be a row of 4 crystal strands with crystal balls. If you hold the strand against the ball to open it up and then slide it down into place, it makes it easy to put together. On the outer side of it, you install the other rectangular crystals. You definitely need more than one person to help with the install, so don’t try to do it by yourself. And don’t remove the plastic unless you are 100% sure you are done hanging it up. Your fingerprints will get everywhere! A tip to clean off the finger prints, mix equal parts vinegar and rubbing alcohol and clean with microfiber towel and then use another microfiber towel to dry it off. This was a pain to install but my mom was super happy with the end product and kept stating how happy she was with how it looked, so it was worth it in the end. However, every time my brother and I look at it, we just know its slightly off and isn’t completely level but we are not willing to re-do it because of how much it sucks to install.
