Easy connect
This allows me to run my camera systems with no issues. This allows me to have one port at 30w but if you plug all it'll be 52w total. This can support 8 PoE IP cameras and without using a ton of energy. The price is amazing especially being you'd need a lot more devices if you don't purchase this and have a bunch of cameras set up on individual systems. This is plug and play so you don't need to download anything additional to make sure it works

Great Switch for the Price
This switch did exactly what it was supposed to. It is a great switch. Provided the correct POE power as needed. Used this for a VOIP network with no problems.

Great PoE switch at an even better price, fantastic choice for PoE IP cameras
I have purchased many of these switches to run various PoE IP camera systems, and they have worked like a dream every time. The PoE supply is good - easily supports 8 PoE IP cameras with a small energy footprint. The two gigabit uplink ports make it really easy to connect this switch to multiple devices and networks. Works really well with my Synology NAS system. Very good price for what you get and the durability of the switch. It's a "dumb" switch - there is no interface or operating system - just plug and play. All the PoE ports are providing PoE all the time, there's no switch off for that. Highly recommend to anyone needing a quick 8 port PoE switch - especially for operating IP cameras!

Good for the price. Comes with ears.
I have a rack full of TP-Link TL-SG1016PE 150W switches and one went bad. The super low price of this one tempted me to see if it might work for awhile and might potentially give me 8 extra ports in the same rack space. My main concern was that in one place the product description says 240W over 16 ports and another says 200W over 16 ports. It advertises 30W max per port and IEEE802.3af/at compliance. It was unclear whether the product came with rack-mount ears or not.Mine came with removable ears and was nicely packaged in an anti-static bag. It runs many of my cameras except for my REOLINK PTZ RLC-423 models (802.3 at mode and supposed to draw <24W). Those cameras run fine off any of the TP-Link's which are advertised to distribute 150W over 8 POE ports. If you have low power cameras this might be a cost-effective box for you.

Inexpensive and reliable
I think it’s great for a the price. It’s working perfectly for me. Recommend for the ones who need few POE ports

Died after 2 weeks .
Initially worked , powered 2 cameras for roughly a week and died . Randomly would stop working and then stopped provide power or data and required me to bypass the switch to get our equipment working for an event .Big cons - Would have to sit for 4-5 mins with after plugging into power before you could plug devices in . I either got a bad one or the device is just not well designed .

My bad - only 10/100 not GB. Returned
Says it is only 10/100 and it is true to its word. I missed that. Returned for a GB for a couple dollars more.
