It's worth it
I've purchased a few ebooks now from guitar heads, the approach is simple and straight forward if you are a little familiar reading guitar notation. I think the Kindle version was less than 7 dollars, 147 pages of guitar some basic blues history, a nice intro to playing blues and progresses you to some more advanced (but not too advanced) techniques.I'm hoping the mentioned music clips show up somewhere, it would be nice to hear some of the tracks and maybe play along.None the less, a good purchases to a subject I always enjoy exploring.

This isn't a book for beginners
The history and technical theory is well written and gives the book a full flavor. However the techniques provided are not for Beginners. The '... for Noobs' title has become so common, and I think it is misused here. This is an advanced book, targeted at experienced guitarists. My hands just are not strong enough to get anything out of this book. I made it to page 43 and gave up. This book is going on the shelf for a few years until I master the more elementary techniques to build on.

Helped me where I got stuck
I love blues music and tried several other methods but this is the one that is helping me move forward. I'm over 60, came back to the guitar after decades away and this book was More than worth the money for me.

Easy to read and easy to start making that sound
As a novice player regarding the blues, this book makes it easy to dip into the genre. Even with three chords and a basic knowledge of the scales to use, I'm pleased with the sound that I'm making. The free extras are a nice touch as well

Poor
Too many mistakes that lead to confusion. Ie. Page 29, f major scale, it states that the 9th note is the same as the second note, which it clearly is isn't. Simply because they have cocked up the Roman numbering underneath the scale. It is correct if you count up through the actual letters of the scale, but the letter corresponding to nine in the Roman numerals is A not G.

Blues
I’m still working my way through this book. Most I understand but some is hard for me so I have to research what’s meant here and there but it’s all a learning curve.
